Denshattack’s release has been delayed by a month: Undercover, the developers, pushed the release date back to July 15th to fix bugs and improve optimization to a stable 60 FPS on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam Deck. The action game was originally scheduled to launch on June 17th. Incidentally, as compensation, the developers will add full Japanese voice acting with a top-notch cast.

Why Denshattack was delayed and when will it be released?
Gamers won’t be able to ride a high-speed train and experience a wild ride in June—Denshattack’s release was officially delayed just a couple of days before the expected launch. Undercover, the developers, took a sober look at the situation and announced the release was pushed back from June 17th to July 15th. It looks like the project’s polishing process has dragged on. The studio wants to lock in a 60 frames per second frame rate on both powerful consoles and PCs, as well as portable devices like the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch 2. For an arcade game like Jet Set Radio and older Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater titles, a high frame rate is crucial, so the decision is entirely justified.
Japanese Localization and New Denshattack Details
However, they decided to sweeten the deal for fans. Undercover confirmed that Denshattack will receive a full Japanese dub at launch, with players being able to freely combine voice acting and subtitles (for example, with English voice acting and Japanese text). Apparently, they took the selection of voice actors seriously.
The official cast of the Japanese version:
-
Nikray Farahnaz – voices the main character, Emi;
-
Hana Takeda – voices Yoshi, the leader of the charismatic Gyaru gang;
-
Katsunori Okay is responsible for the lines of the eccentric photographer Fernando.
