Electronic Arts has shared the impressive results of cheat protection in Battlefield 6. The Javelin system, running at the kernel level, has stopped more than 2.4 million cheating attempts since the game’s launch. These data show the scale of the problem and the seriousness of EA’s approach to creating a fair gaming environment.

Interestingly, even before the official release, during beta testing, the anti-cheat revealed an additional 1.2 million violations. Such figures clearly demonstrate how important the early integration of the Javelin system was.

How the Javelin protection system works

The Battlefield anti-cheat uses an operating system-level approach. This system ensures that no one gets into the memory of the game, and eliminates loopholes for cheaters. It detects when it looks at known cheats, and looks at how the programs behave.

Secure Boot is now enabled for 92% of players. This is cool because it creates additional protection against hacking at the download level.

Results: the share of fair matches increased to 98%

A week after the shooter was launched, statistics showed that 98 percent of sessions take place without detected cheaters. This indicator is stable, which indicates the constant work of the Electronic Arts team to improve detection tools.

EA reported monitoring about 190 programs and vendors of banned software. Of these, 96.3% faced serious difficulties: the functionality of their products either partially stopped working, or they stopped supporting Battlefield 6 altogether. This is a significant blow to the cheating industry.

Fighting hardware cheats: the next stage

The studio continues to develop the reporting system and plans to strengthen protection against hardware modifications. Devices like the Cronus Zen, which mimic controllers and provide undeserved advantages, will remain in focus.

For those who really need special controllers for medical reasons, the developers recommend using official solutions — Xbox Adaptive Controller or PlayStation Access Controller. These devices do not cause false positive alarms and are fully compatible with the fair play policy.

What to do if your account was blocked by mistake: A guide to appeals

Even the best defense systems sometimes make mistakes. If you are sure that the ban was received unfairly, it is important to act quickly and competently. First of all, check if you have any programs running that the anti—cheat Battlefield could mistake for fraudulent equipment – these could be Steam overlays, tray messengers, NVIDIA software, or even fps counters.

To appeal the ban, contact EA support via the official website. Specify the exact date of the lockdown, describe which programs were active during the game, and attach screenshots of the system settings. Mention whether you use adaptive controllers or have Secure Boot enabled. This information will help specialists figure out the situation faster.

If you have been banned due to suspicion of using hwid spoofer or other means of circumventing iron locks, please explain the technical configuration of your PC. Sometimes certain combinations of components or virtual machines can cause a false alarm. The Battlefield disassembly process usually takes from a few days to two weeks — be patient and keep in touch with technical support.

Remember: the players’ guide to working with support is simple — be polite, provide specific facts and avoid emotional accusations. If an anti-cheat error has actually occurred, your case will be reviewed and your account will be restored. A detailed description of the problem and willingness to engage in dialogue significantly increase the chances of a successful appeal.
