Riley, the main character, is just finishing exploring the tapes with “Amanda the Adventurer” when she is kidnapped by a mysterious man in a mask. He takes her to the city library, where Riley’s aunt Kate once worked. It was there that Kate tried to get to the bottom of the truth about the Hameln company that was behind the creation of the animated series. New recordings are hidden in the library, and along with them – Amanda herself, whose appearance in reality again turns into horror.

The mechanics are recognizable: you need to find tapes, watch episodes of the show and use clues to solve puzzles that appear in the real world. However, now the events unfold not in the attic, but in a spacious library. In fact, this is the same “central location”, but the scale and atmosphere have become richer.

Amanda and her partner Woolie sometimes seem friendly, sometimes scare you to the point of trembling, and sometimes even cause ironic laughter – especially if you deliberately give wrong answers. This dynamic maintains a balance between horror, tension and dark humor.

The second part significantly expands the variability of tasks. For example, you need to stop the video in time and move the piggy bank so that the coins fall inside, or arrange objects in the library so that the characters on the tape stand in the poses of the “three wise monkeys”. There are also unexpected details: the printers in the library can be used as a source of clues, although the game does not directly explain this. These elements make the gameplay not only tense, but also truly exciting.

Continuing the journey with Amanda the adventurer, the player finds himself in the center of a strange and sometimes disturbing show. To move forward, you have to solve puzzles and find old tapes with episodes of a children’s cartoon. Amanda herself gives hints, but they are not always obvious. The player can click on objects or enter answers, and only after a series of incorrect attempts does the correct option open. Unlike previous parts, now the player’s choice significantly affects how Amanda and her companion Woolley will act.

One of the new techniques was the command “GET UP!”. Upon hearing it, Amanda demands that the player bring her an object that appeared nearby. The TV continues to spin, giving no time to catch her breath – the tension grows with every second.

As you progress, you can also find hidden recordings. Four special colored tapes become the key to understanding the story and open the way to the real ending.

Against this background, a second line is woven into the narrative – the story of Riley Park. A mysterious masked figure introduces himself as a friend of his late Aunt Kate and invites him to the Kensdale Library. There, among the dusty shelves and the “Kids’ Corner,” Riley continues to find Amanda’s tapes, getting into increasingly disturbing situations.

The episodes within the show seem to have a life of their own. In “Let’s Plan a Trip,” Amanda plays an imaginary “Dream Train,” collecting coins for tickets, but everything is ruined by an annoying possum trying to steal her loot. In “Good Night!”, she gets ready for bed, puts away her toys, does the dishes – and again encounters the same mischievous animal, who is now attacking her toothpaste. Already in bed, Amanda admits that she has a hard time falling asleep alone, and unexpectedly mentions Riley’s name.

Morning arrives in “Let’s Get the Day Started!”, where Amanda is making breakfast, and the possum again interferes, trying to ruin the moment.

Wullie also gradually returns. In the episode “Let’s Practice Patience!” he builds a birdhouse with Amanda – slowly, step by step, testing the limits of their patience. In “When You’re Down”, Woolie tries to cheer up a sad friend, but it is Riley who offers a different version of the story, which cheers up Amanda and irritates Woolie.

There are also dangerous scenes: in “Let’s Go Treasure Hunt!” the heroes go to the forest, where a disappointed Amanda encounters her monstrous incarnation. The monster demands the treasure from Riley, and the player is forced to sacrifice the Woolie doll to drive away the creature.

The show’s glitches only increase the anxiety. In the episode “We Can Fix It!” the heroes fix things from the “throwaway” box, but try in vain to fix Amanda’s heart. And towards the end, in “Do You Feel Safe?”, she opens up about her fears and trust. The conversation is interrupted by the same possum, who this time attacks after hearing the masked man’s voice on Riley’s radio. Amanda and Woolley manage to deal with it, throwing it in the dumpster.

The story reaches a climax when Riley and a mysterious figure find a tape with Kate’s last words. On the tape, she is heard in a panic warning her nephew not to watch the cartoon before dying in a car crash. The figure removes her mask – it is Joanna Cook. Her confession is chilling: she was the one who tried to destroy the tapes, believing it would save her brother Jordan, but instead encountered Amanda’s Monster.

The ending gets even darker. A sheep-like creature breaks into the library and maims Joanna. Riley is left alone, descending with the unmarked film down the secret staircase in Kate’s office.
