It features Matt Damon as Odysseus and Benny Safdie as Agamemnon in a setting stylized to resemble ancient Greece.
This isn’t Nolan’s first foray into Fortnite. In 2020, the game showed a trailer for Tenet, followed by screenings of Batman Begins, Inception, and The Prestige. So a collaboration with Odyssey is a logical next step. Incidentally, a similar crossover was announced on Roblox in early July, with a free mode based on the film. But Fortnite, as usual, is moving forward.

When will the skins be released and how much will they cost?
The most important question for everyone. The skins will appear in the in-game store on July 17th at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) (5:00 PM Pacific Time). The date is no coincidence: Odyssey is also released worldwide on the same day.
The price hasn’t been announced yet. However, standard Fortnite collaboration skins typically cost between 1,200 and 1,500 V-Bucks. The set will include two skins: Odysseus (Matt Damon) and Agamemnon (Benny Safdie). Insiders also mention cosmetics: a pickaxe, back bling, loading screen, and spray. Epic hasn’t yet revealed the full list, but leaks suggest there will be exactly two skins.

Odyssey Cup: How to Get a Free Skin
The main feature is the Odyssey Cup tournament. It offers a chance to earn the Odyssey skin and a cosmetic set without spending a single V-Buck.
The competition will take place on July 15th and 16th. This is a solo tournament—no teammates, just you and your skills. Two main modes are available: Battle Royale and Zero Build. A separate version in Reload mode will be launched for mobile players—this is especially relevant with Fortnite’s return to iOS.
How to participate: log in to the game, open the Compete tab, and select The Odyssey Cup. You’ll also find session times for your region there. Important: enable two-factor authentication on your Epic Games account before the tournament—you won’t be allowed in without it.
Strategy tip: points are awarded primarily for survival, not eliminations. So, drop in a sparsely populated area and enter the zone early—it’s more effective than diving into the fray from the very first minutes.
Cup Rewards: What are they and what do they give you?
The system is simple: some rewards are based on points, others are based on regional ranking.
The loading screen and spray are the most affordable: 8 and 40 points, respectively. However, the full set (skin + pickaxe + back bling) requires reaching the top of the regional ranking.
Regional requirements: how much is needed to win
Free skin quotas vary greatly depending on the server.
Standard Cup (Battle Royale / Zero Build):
Mobile Cup (Reload):
Europe is the most generous region: the top 1000 receive a reward. NA Central is second with a top 700. Meanwhile, Oceania, Asia, and the Middle East each have only 100 spots.
What to do if you don’t make it to the top
Don’t despair. The skin will appear in the store on July 17 at 8:00 PM ET—just in time for the film’s premiere. So everyone has a path to Odysseus: either free through a tournament, or paid in the store.
