Fortnite’s storyline has taken its wildest turn in battle royale history—the finale of Chapter 7, Season 2, officially confirmed that the mysterious Visitor was Geno all along. The main antagonist has been misleading the Seven for years, masquerading as their ally in order to reach Zero Point at the right moment. The Foundation and Jonesy are out of the game, and the unsuspecting surviving heroes continue to carry out the traitor’s orders. For those confused by the intricacies of this now-nine-year-old lore, we’ve laid out the timeline of the Imaginary Order’s leader and explained where to find him on the new Chapter 7, Season 3 map.

The Immortal King and the Creation of IO: Geno’s True Story

This story traces its roots back to Chapter 4, when Geno ruled the Oathbound faction as the Immortal King. Having captured the Rift Guardian Stellan, he used its technology to travel between worlds until he stumbled upon Reality Zero—the cradle of the Zero Point.

Geno discovers Reality Zero

The energy of this artifact revealed visions of the future to the king. Geno realized that the multiverse was threatened by the Ultimate Reality and decided to save the universe in a very specific way—total control. Becoming a mental double of his own enemy, he founded the Imaginary Order (IO), chained the Zero Point, and created the Loop, transforming himself into an interdimensional tyrant. Incidentally, even the dictator’s biological daughters—Imaginary and Order—eventually fled their father, joining the Foundation to create the Seven.

How the leader of the Imaginary Order became the Visitor?

The final confrontation in Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #5 was supposed to be the end of the tyrant. The imaginary sacrificed herself by pushing her father into the Zero Point, literally disintegrating their bodies into atoms. But Geno didn’t die—his molecules managed to reassemble in alternate worlds.

Reborn, the villain played a brilliant game:

  • Infiltrated the OG reality under the guise of the Visitor.
  • Built a legendary rocket to create a rift on the map of Chapter 7, Season 1.
  • Infiltrated his avatar into the Seven, forcing his former comrades to trust him.

Visitor secret identity reveal

In Chapter 7, Season 2, a disguised Geno skillfully pitted the Ice King against the Foundation. While the war raged, IO’s henchman, the Dark Traveler, quietly collected the fragments of the Zero Point to restore its former power for his master.

What happened to Jonesy and where to find Geno in Chapter 7, Season 3

Chapter 7, Season 3, got off to a grim start: Geno, having revealed himself, shot Jonesy (the poor guy is now in a coma), and the Foundation disappeared without a trace. The remaining members of the Seven still haven’t paid for the replacement and continue to blindly assist the IO leader in his plans, thinking they’re communicating with their old comrade.

Geno in Chapter 7

Geno himself, in the guise of the Visitor, is wandering freely across the new map of Chapter 7, Season 3. You can find him and confront the season’s main manipulator in the Sheiken Sanctuary location.
