The launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners brought the expected first batch of weekly quests to the game. The “Kickstart” weekly quest line is a great (and currently the fastest) way to boost the latest Battle Pass. The developers are awarding 12,000 XP for each completed quest. We’ll figure out how to maximize XP and get back into the battle royale game quickly without unnecessary grinding.

How to quickly complete the Kickstart challenges in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3?

Kickstart tasks quickly

Below is a complete guide to all the starting tasks. Spoiler: nothing too hardcore if you know the right routes and mechanics.

  • Visit The Battlewoods, Calamari Canyon, and Heatwave Harbor. You can even run through these locations in a single match (if you’re lucky with your circle). Look for The Battlewoods directly north, Calamari Canyon closer to the center in the west, and Heatwave Harbor hidden in the southwest corner of the map. Don’t bother with the mysterious “unstable reality waves.” The game will count your progress simply by arriving.
  • Stylish damage with Seven Sliders (150 units). Randomly pull these things out of chests, put them in the active slot, and start spamming them while sliding. Sounds a bit tedious. In reality, the quest is completed in a couple of intense firefights.
  • Deploying a paraglider close to the ground (3 times) Life hack for the lazy: fly into “Zero Altitude” mode. It has a built-in redeployment, and “Shocker” grenades respawn every 30 seconds. Throw them at your feet, take off, deploy the glider close to the ground—repeat three times. Five eliminations with an equipped Sprite. Did you retrieve a companion from the Sprites tab or find one in a chest? Put them on your back and go rack up the server’s minus five. Stats carry over between games, so you won’t have to grind your guts out in one game.
  • 50 hits with the Chaos Exploder rifle. This gun uses medium ammo and has a nice burst damage (which makes aiming very forgiving). You don’t need to aim precisely for heads. Just hold the trigger on a crowd of enemies or go terrorize the local mobs.
  • Deal 750 damage to bosses. Speaking of bosses, Skeletor is the easiest one to find right now—he’s a guy who consistently patrols the area just north of Calamari Canyon. Keep your inventory full of ammo and focus all your damage on a single target. That should be more than enough to complete the mission.
  • Loot with a hired specialist (3 weapons). Spend some gold on any NPC mercenary. Then, simply pick up three weapons from the ground—a maximum of 12,000 free XP.
  • 500 meters with a boost in a vehicle. Jump into the nearest car or boat. Wait for the red bar on the right to fill, and then hold the boost button. 500 meters will fly by.

The next set of challenges will unlock on Thursday, June 11th (starting at 9:00 AM). We recommend completing the current challenges before this deadline to seamlessly progress through the pass levels.
