New Thunderpick World Championship 2024 announced
Thunderpick has announced the long-awaited Thunderpick 2024 event for Counter-Strike 2, a major professional tournament with a prize pool of $1 million. Building upon the success of 2023, when FaZe Clan emerged as the champion of this event, the tournament this year promises even more thrilling competition among the world’s top Counter-Strike teams.
Scheduled for April 1, 2024, and culminating in the global finals in late October 2024, the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 aims to elevate the esports experience to new heights. At least, that’s what the organizers themselves claim.

The prize fund is almost twice as big as the previous one
With a prize pool nearly twice as large as the previous one (amounting to approximately $600,000 in BTC equivalent), participants will be competing for a more significant monetary reward.

- Europe Qualifier #1: April 1-22
- Europe Qualifier #2: August 19-31
- North America Qualifier #1: May 19-24
- North America Qualifier #2: June 4-9
- South America Qualifier #1: May 11-16
- South America Qualifier #2: July 17-22
- World Finals (RO16): October 1-4
- World Finals (RO8): October 19-20
- World Finals (LAN): October 23-24
All qualifiers will be held in an offline format within their respective regions.
