Not much is known about Rickbor. His real name and date of birth remain a secret, and he himself does not seem to strive for publicity. But the fact that he is from Italy and loves Fortnite is undeniable. He is one of those players who does not chase fame, but simply does his job - and does it well. Over the past few years, Rickbor has participated in six tournaments, and each of them brought him at least a little, but prize money. To date, his total winnings are $ 2,100, and this is all the result of persistence and perseverance. No sponsors, no team, just him and his desire to prove that he can.

First steps and growth

2023 became a starting point for him - then he received his first prize money: three tournaments and $ 800. And already in 2024 he improved the result - again three performances and already $ 1,300. These are not millions, but every dollar here is the result of struggle, training and nerves. Interestingly, Rickbor has never participated in offline tournaments. All his matches are online battles, where he fights other players right from home. Such a fight requires self-discipline and concentration - after all, you are not in the gym with a team, but alone with the screen.

Fortnite - his choice and passion

Rickbor has dedicated himself entirely to Fortnite. It was this game that gave him a chance to prove himself, and all his prize money came from it. He plays independently - without an eSports organization behind him. Everything he has achieved is the result of his own efforts.

Tournaments that were memorable:

  • FNCS: Major 1 2024 (Europe) - he made it to the top 64 and got $500. This is his biggest win so far.
  • He took 5th place in the Trios Cups twice (fall 2024) and earned $400 each time.
  • Three more tournaments in 2023 brought him $350, $300 and $150 respectively - step by step, day by day, he climbed up.

Should we expect more from him?

Of course. So far, he hasn't won any tournaments or reached the podium. But that's not the point. The important thing is that he doesn't stop. He didn't disappear after the first unsuccessful match and didn't quit when the prize money was modest. He continues - and this deserves respect. For some, $2,100 is a trifle. But for someone who is building a career in eSports from scratch, this is a huge step. It may be that Rickbor will surprise everyone very soon – and a name that few have heard of now will be heard loud and clear.
