Publisher NetEase Games has finally revealed the cards on the list of partner organizations for the upcoming Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 season.

In the latest issue of Dev Vision, dedicated to update 6.5, twelve clubs have been highlighted — here are the mastodons of the industry, and very fresh blood. Virtus.pro By the way, they are returning to the ranks as the current champions of the 2025 Grand Final to try to keep the crown. In truth, the competition will be wild: the list also includes the winners of the American Invitational 100 Thieves, as well as Sentinels, FlyQuest and, of course, Natus Vincere.

Asia is also in place — the Gen.G Esports and REJECT brands, which were hacked back in the first season, are back in business.

Interestingly, the 2026 season has attracted new heavyweights. Apparently, Team Heretics from Spain, as well as North American Spacestation Gaming, along with the legendary TSM, joined the project. Powerful, don’t you think?

The cherry on the cake lies in high-profile collaborations. The Citadel Gaming team — and these are, for a second, the tops of Europe — will now perform under the Liquid Citadel tag after the deal with Team Liquid. At the same time, NRG decided to join forces with San Francisco Shock by forming the NRG Shock alliance — hello Overwatch fans, it’s going to be hot.

However, there were some oddities.

To be honest, many fans were stunned by ENVY‘s absence. The finalists of the 2025 mid-season faded into the shadows back in November and still remain deathly silent — a rather alarming sign. Plus, the Chinese leaders from OUG, who took the first stages of Ignite last year, were not on the list. Where DarkZero, Crazy Raccoon and Rad Esports went is also a big question, because these guys were the face of the scene. In general, the partner roster looks solid, but there are still questions about NetEase Games.

Marvel Rivals Ignite Partner Team Economics 2026

The financial side of the issue this season looks even more intriguing than just the distribution of the prize money.

In addition to direct payments, partner teams are actually embedded in the economy of the game itself through a system of revenue sharing from customization. The same case with an exclusive skin from Virtus.pro — this is just the tip of the iceberg, to be honest. NetEase Games plans to turn esports assets into the main driver of monetization, which, in truth, will provide clubs with tremendous stability even with temporary drawdowns in results. But don’t think that this is just a “one—way ticket” – the system is extremely rigid.

The interesting thing here is that protection from relegation, which is so much debated, actually has its limits, and partner status does not guarantee eternal life on Olympus.

If the team starts openly “draining” the distance, no amount of old achievements will save it from pressure from hungry applicants from open qualifications. Championship points, which are now being farmed by everyone without exception, create the very “death zone” where any mistake can cost a place on the final lan of the year. And here’s the most interesting thing: while some are enjoying the cosmetic bonuses, others are already preparing the ground for the most high-profile comeback in the history of the discipline.

Actually, it is this contrast between the “protected” giants and the audacious newcomers that brings us to the main question.: Which of the legends from last season suddenly found themselves overboard from the celebration of life?

Prediction: Whose triumph will mark the 2026 Grand Final?

2026 Grand Final Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026

The Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 season unfolds according to a tight schedule: after Preseason and Stage 1, Mid-Season Finals are waiting for us, followed by Stage 2. The final point is the Grand Finals in November. NetEase Games publisher has clearly raised the bar by increasing the number of LAN events and inflating the prize pool to $1,000,000. The teams are now fighting not just for a check, but for the right to enter the history of this multiverse. The meta promises to be aggressive: bundles from Phoenix, Blade and Venom force us to reconsider the very essence of the synergy of roles.

The 2026 Grand Finale: The Battle of Atlanta

The main Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026 show starts in mid-November and ends in early December. Twelve of the best bands on the planet will meet at the LAN Arena in Atlanta. The rules are strict: a group stage with two pools of 6 participants, a cross-grid in the quarterfinals and a Bo5 format in the decisive stages. Any mistake in the timing of the ultimate — and the favorite goes home, as happened with Navi and FlyQuest last year. The pressure level here is exorbitant, because the status of the strongest in the world is at stake.

Favorites: Dominance through experience

Team Liquid and Sentinels now look the most stable, which confirms their positions in the current power ranking. After completing Stage 2, their winrate in high-level matches is astounding, and the combo realization rate (PP%) consistently stays above 85%. These organizations rely on proven Hulk and Doctor Strange, which allows them to dictate terms within the framework of the current patch 6.5. While competitors are looking for themselves, these giants simply take their own due to the discipline and depth of the hero pool.

Contenders for the title: Ambition and calculation

FlyQuest and Virtus.pro — teams that have already proved their worth by closing Navi 2-0 in the 2025 semifinals. Their strength lies in the work of the special teams: Rocket Raccoon provides control, and Star-Lord is responsible for the lightning push. Their defense statistics in the minority (penalty kill) exceed 88%. By the start of Ignite 2026, they had conducted a series of transfers to ensure that they would skip Stage 2 and gain a foothold in the Grand Finals bracket. The pressure of these guys can be a problem even for the ranking leaders.

Esports Team Analytics

Team Key Hero Winrate Stage 1-2 Key Strength
FlyQuest Star-Lord 78% Push & Ultimates
Virtus.pro Rocket Raccoon 75% Point Control

Dark Horse: Analytical landing from Dota 2

Gaimin Gladiators entered Marvel Rivals, taking with them a pragmatic approach typical of their success in other disciplines. Their tactics are based around protection: Jeff the Land Shark in the role of a tank gives an HD-SV% indicator (protection from dangerous attacks) at 90%. While the young talents at Penny Parker are tearing apart the flanks, the analytical staff is calculating every move of the opponent. If the Gladiators keep up the pace in the Mid-Season Finals, we will see a serious distortion in the usual hierarchy of forces.

Last season’s Champions: thirst for revenge

Navi, the triumphants of Ignite 2025, still remember the defeat of FlyQuest in Bo5. Their championship path in October and November was based on the impeccable links of Wolverine and Cloak & Dagger. The organization is currently focused on adapting to Patch 6.5, where melee heroes have received significant enhancements. All the past experience and the Cap + Rocket bundle are aimed at one goal — to return to the Grand Finals and prove that last year’s misfire was an accident.

Partner Teams: Privilege versus discipline

Clubs with the status of NetEase Games partners enjoy the best seeding and release branded skins, but this does not always help on the server. Their strong point is quick plays, but they often sag in long matches. A penalty kill score below 80% indicates problems with self-control. In the 2026 Grand Finals bracket, they will most likely have to wait at the bottom, unless the Blade transfer corrects the damage situation in the decisive skirmishes.

Super-timers: constellation on the server

The formation of lineups like Cloud9 around the Hulk duo and Emma Frost in a support position creates a new reality. These super-timers are effective where perfect first pass and high performance (G/60) are required. Update 6.5 makes their strategies with Ultron and Doctor Doom virtually invulnerable to standard counterpicks. When a star plays in each position, individual skill begins to outweigh any tactical preparations of the opponents.

Meta and Patch 6.5: A new era of mobility

Patch 6.5 has completely reshaped the Ignite 2026 landscape. Abyss Awakens buffs for Phoenix and Blade have shifted the focus towards dive-meta, where the speed of movement destroys slow tanks. The chaos of the past years is giving way to a structured game (ordered play). The effectiveness of most combinations has increased by 15%, but the outcome of Bo5 still depends on the quality of the penalty kill. The same Team Liquid is already adjusting Star-Lord to the synergy with Venom, realizing: Whoever can master HD-SV% faster in high-risk areas will take the crown of the Grand Final.
