About Curse
Curse, whose real name is Raí Yamada, is a 21-year-old Brazilian jungler competing under the LOS banner in the CBLOL, Brazil’s premier League of Legends league. As one of the players roaming the map’s neutral spaces, he shoulders the responsibility of shaping the game’s tempo from the shadows of the jungle.
Reading the Rift from the Jungle
Few roles demand as much mental bandwidth as the jungle. Curse must clear camps efficiently, track the enemy jungler’s movements, contest neutral objectives like dragons and Baron, and choose the right lanes to invest ganks in, all while keeping an eye on the ever-ticking clock. It is a position built on pathing, timing, and judgment, where the most valuable players are those who can consistently be in the right place a heartbeat before the fight breaks out.
A Versatile Champion Pool
Curse’s roster of champions speaks to that versatility. Viego, Graves, Udyr, Karthus, and Ivern span a striking range of archetypes. Graves and Udyr represent the aggressive, farm-heavy carry jungler who wants to snowball through raw combat power. Viego offers a duelist’s toolkit with reset potential in extended teamfights. Karthus embodies the scaling, global-pressure style that can influence lanes from across the map. Ivern, by contrast, is the ultimate enabler, a supportive jungler who prioritizes empowering allies over farming for himself. Commanding all five means Curse can adapt his approach to fit whatever a given draft or matchup requires.
Standing in the CBLOL
The CBLOL has produced a steady stream of talent that has gone on to compete internationally, and playing within that circuit places Curse among a competitive pool of homegrown professionals. Representing LOS, he contributes to a scene renowned for its passionate fan base and its willingness to embrace bold, high-energy play.
At 21, Curse is at a stage where experience and refinement matter most. The breadth of his champion pool already marks him as an adaptable presence, and continued development of his macro instincts could see him grow into a defining figure for his team. The seasons ahead will test whether that flexibility can be forged into the kind of reliable, game-defining jungle play that elevates a roster from contender to champion.
