Riot adds Heartsong Seraphine and two Ocean Song skins in patch 26.17

Three League of Legends skins enter the store on August 26. Heartsong Seraphine is joined by Ocean Song versions of Soraka and Jinx.

Riot listed the release in the patch 26.17 notes. The three cosmetics share a musical and summer presentation, but each one has effects built around a different champion kit.

Seraphine is the main champion in the Heartsong skin set

Seraphine’s kit already uses music as a central part of its visual identity. The Heartsong skin develops that theme through new colours, spell effects and sound treatment. Her abilities need clear edges because several effects travel through team fights. A cosmetic can change the style of a spell, but opponents must still recognise its width and direction.

The design also covers her passive performance and ultimate. Those moments create the largest visual focus, so their animation must remain readable when many champions are on screen.

Soraka uses the calmer side of the Ocean Song theme

Ocean Song Soraka connects the summer setting with a support champion. Healing and protective effects can use water colours without changing the timing that allies expect. Soraka players watch health bars and enemy movement at the same time. Clear visual feedback helps them know when a heal has reached its target and when a silence zone remains active.

The skin offers a different tone from several darker Soraka designs. Its value is cosmetic, and it does not change ability strength or cooldowns.

Ocean Song Jinx adds new effects to weapons and movement

Ocean Song Jinx applies the theme to rockets, shots and movement effects. Her weapons create frequent particles, so the skin needs to distinguish basic attacks from larger abilities. Jinx also moves quickly after takedowns. The cosmetic presentation can make that acceleration visible without adding information that the base champion does not provide.

The shared name links Soraka and Jinx, while Seraphine carries the separate Heartsong title. All three still arrive in the same release window.

The new skins do not change game balance

Cosmetics and balance changes arrive together, but they serve different purposes. Buying a skin does not affect damage, healing or ranked progression. Patch 26.17 changes several champions and items across normal play. The new skins only replace the visual and audio presentation of their owners.

Keeping that distinction clear matters for players reading the update. The three designs are available from August 26, while the balance section applies to every account that receives the patch.

Each champion keeps clear and distinct ability effects

The collection gives Seraphine, Soraka and Jinx a shared visual theme. Each champion keeps the normal timing and hit area of every ability. The skins change models, colours, sounds and animations without changing combat power.

The client preview shows models, sounds and spell effects

The client preview shows each model, recall animation and main spell effect before a player spends currency. That check is useful because a still image cannot show movement or sound. Seraphine, Soraka and Jinx also have different roles, so the value of a cosmetic depends on which champion a person actually uses. The release does not change champion power. Every advantage remains visual, and normal balance rules apply in ranked and unranked matches.
