Bel'Veth

Bel’Veth is not so much a creature of the Void as she is a verdict on what the Void does to a place. She was assembled out of the remains of a whole city that the Void had swallowed, and in her, that devoured city’s destruction became something closer to a beginning than an ending.

What she carries forward is everything the consumed world once held: repurposed history, knowledge, and memory, all folded into an appetite that never settles. New experiences, new emotions, anything that crosses her path, she takes it in and wants more. A single world was never going to be enough for something built this way, and her attention has started drifting toward whatever forces once ruled the Void before her arrival.

Her presence in a fight escalates the same way. Death in Lavender rewards her for taking down minions, monsters, and champions with permanent attack speed, on top of a burst after every ability. Void Surge dashes her through a line of enemies; Above and Below slams her tail down for damage and a knockup; Royal Maelstrom roots her in place while she carves into the lowest-health target nearby, trading mobility for sustain. Endless Banquet, her ultimate, consumes Void coral remnants to shift her into a larger true form with more health, range, and speed, each stage of the fight making her a little more of what she already is. Fellow Void-born champions such as Kha’Zix and Kai’Sa answer to that same hunger, though none quite on Bel’Veth’s scale.

She’s played almost exclusively in the top lane, and unlike most champions she draws on no conventional resource at all, her power instead measured entirely through the True Form she builds toward. Even among Void-born company like Kassadin, who fights the Void rather than embodying it, Bel’Veth stands out as the one who became the thing others fear.
