Adaptive Defenses grants her a shield against whichever damage type just landed on her, and Shaco’s kit is classed as mixed, so she is shielded against both halves of it in turn.

Her stat line compounds the problem. Camille brings 68 base attack damage, the stronger opening figure of the pair, with 35 armor rising to 111.5 and 2,333 health at level 18, against Shaco’s 30 armor, 98 at level 18 and 2,313 health. Both fight at 125 range, so there is no spacing to fall back on. Hookshot supplies a wall-assisted engage Shaco cannot match, and The Hextech Ultimatum anchors him inside a zone where invisibility no longer buys distance. Tactical Sweep heals her on the outer half of its cone, refunding the chip damage a box would otherwise bank.

The record is blunt: 44.6% for Shaco across 269 games on patch 16.13.1. He is also the far harder champion to execute, rated 9 out of 10 against her 4, so the losing side is the side demanding more precision. Boxes placed in brush before a fight starts, rather than during it, remain the one reliable equalizer.
