Camille vs K’Sante Counter Pick

K’Sante is rated difficulty 9, one of the harder champions in the game to pilot, and Camille punishes any gap between that ceiling and the average player’s execution: 56.9% across 603 games on patch 16.13.1.

The core issue is engage timing. Hookshot lets Camille grapple to a wall and leap off it, knocking up whoever she lands on — a tool K’Sante’s own Path Maker dash and Footwork shield are meant to answer, but only if used correctly and before All Out is active. K’Sante’s passive, Dauntless Instinct, marks targets for bonus damage on his next attack and scales up further while All Out, but reaching that state safely against Camille’s burst window is where the difficulty rating starts to matter.

Stat-wise this is close to a fair fight: K’Sante has more health at level 18 (2,665 versus 2,333) and slightly more armor, while Camille edges him in base attack damage, 68 to 64. Camille’s The Hextech Ultimatum anchors K’Sante to the fight and adds bonus magic damage on her basic attacks during it, which is often enough to close out an engage before K’Sante’s higher-skill defensive tools get used correctly.
