Veigar in the mid lane is all about scaling into a late-game threat, and his current numbers back that plan up nicely: a 51.1% winrate on a 3.01% pickrate as of patch 16.13.1. He’s also seen occasional play in the adc role according to the lane data. First Strike suits his poke-and-punish playstyle, rewarding damage dealt before the enemy can retaliate.
