GTA V Title Update 1.73 now includes the latest stability and security fixes as well as a long repair list for the Kortz Center Heist. The most useful changes target situations where players followed a stealth plan but guards, cameras or prompts reacted as if a mistake had occurred.

Stealth should fail because of a player action

Several Kortz Center faults created alerts without a clear cause. Guards could react when no visible trigger had occurred, and noise in the hedge maze could produce a response that did not match the intended rules. These bugs were especially damaging because the team could not learn from the failure. A good stealth mission tells players which sight line, sound or movement exposed them. A false alarm turns planning into guesswork.

Rockstar also corrected the guard near the sewer exit, who could alert the wider group after being hit with a stun gun. The fix does not make the finale free of risk. It restores the expected result of a controlled takedown. Players still need to watch patrols and cameras, but a successful action should no longer create an unrelated alarm across the area.

Cameras now track their correct status

The CCTV system had several conflicting responses. Dialogue could play after the system had been disabled by an EMP, and the footage deletion prompt could appear even when the footage was already gone. A moving camera could also be hidden. Each problem gave the player information that did not match the mission state, making it difficult to decide whether another task was required.

Correcting these states improves more than presentation. Heist teams divide jobs around known security systems. One player may handle cameras while another waits to move. If the interface reports the wrong condition, the whole team loses time or exposes itself. The repaired prompts should let the group trust that a completed security step remains complete.

Entry routes receive practical fixes

A delay in the skylight entry cutscene could interrupt the move into the finale. Rockstar has addressed that timing problem along with several route-specific guard reactions. The changes preserve the value of selecting an entry plan. A route should be difficult because of its layout and security, not because the transition into it pauses at an unexpected moment.

Players in disguise near the loading bay entrance could be spotted by cameras when the disguise should have worked. Security-room guards could also become alert more easily than intended, and another guard could appear behind the team at the staff entrance. Fixing these cases makes route comparison meaningful again because each approach can be judged by its stated risks.

Map information is now more reliable

Some guard blips appeared on the minimap with less range than expected. That reduced the warning available to a careful team and could make a patrol seem to appear suddenly. The update corrects the range so the minimap better reflects nearby danger. It is still a support tool rather than complete vision, but the information it does show should be consistent.

The NOOSE agent armour value in the finale was also stronger than intended. This repair affects direct combat after stealth has failed or when a plan includes an open fight. Correct armour does not guarantee an easy escape. It means weapon choice and damage should produce the result used when the encounter was balanced.

Respawns and mission continuity matter after a mistake

One fault returned players to the front of the Kortz Center even when they had not died near that location. A bad respawn can be more disruptive than the original death because it separates the team and removes the context of the current objective. The repair should keep retries closer to the intended flow instead of forcing players to recover from a location chosen by an error.

Update 1.73 also includes wider stability and security work. Those notes cover several platforms and do not claim that every crash has one cause. Players who still encounter a failure should record the platform, mission step, entry route and number of teammates. That detail helps separate a remaining Kortz Center issue from a general connection or hardware problem.

The patch makes existing content easier to trust

This update is not a new heist announcement. The Kortz Center content already exists, including its prep missions, finale and rewards. The current work repairs the rules around that content. Describing it accurately matters because players returning for a new mission would otherwise expect a separate storyline that is not part of this patch.

The strongest improvement is consistency between action and response. A hidden team should not trigger an unexplained alarm, a disabled camera system should not behave as active, and a completed task should not request itself again. When those rules hold, failure becomes understandable and success feels earned. That is the practical purpose of Update 1.73.
