Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 received its Season 5 Reloaded update on 20 August. The mid-season release adds the Turbo Tilt multiplayer map, the Freerun: Descent course and the Rex Infernus Zombies chapter.
The update also changes weapon balance and adds new rewards. Its content covers several play styles, from short multiplayer rounds to a longer Zombies quest. Players can choose the part that matches their usual mode instead of learning every system at once.

Turbo Tilt is a small multiplayer map
Turbo Tilt supports 2v2 and 6v6 play. The map uses a pinball theme based on Nuketown, with a bus, a house and a central blast area. Its small size should create frequent encounters and short routes back into action. Players need to share information quickly on this compact map. They should call out an opponent’s direction before changing position. Moving without that information can place two teammates on the same route while another route remains open.
The central area is useful but dangerous. This area connects several paths, so a team can lose control quickly. A team can reduce risk by holding two linked positions rather than placing every player at the same point.
Freerun Descent tests movement skills
The new Freerun course sends players through seven zones. Checkpoints save progress, but falling adds a fault and returns the player to the last saved point. A fast attempt can therefore lose time when a difficult jump is rushed. The course gives players a direct way to practise movement. A successful route depends on timing, direction and the decision to slow down before a narrow section.
These skills can also help in multiplayer, where a failed move can leave a player open to attack.
Players can unlock the Gridlock universal weapon camouflage by earning a strong result. They should first learn each zone, then combine the sections into a complete run instead of restarting after every small mistake.

Rex Infernus finishes the current Zombies story
The Zombies update introduces Rex Infernus as the final chapter of the season’s main storyline. It arrives with a main quest, new enemies and additional rewards. Widow’s Wine returns as a Perk-a-Cola, while Fully Packed joins the available GobbleGum choices. Two returning weapons, the TR2 and Olympia, add more weapon options. Their value depends on the current stage and the available ammunition. A familiar weapon can still be a poor choice if another squad member already has a weapon for the same task.
The new chapter rewards careful preparation before each match. Players should agree on upgrades and quest tasks before separating. Players who share resources can recover from a difficult wave more easily than a team following unrelated plans.
