World of Warships: Legends is finally coming to PC — and it will happen on May 4th. Previously, the project was only available on consoles and mobile phones, but now the studio is expanding its geography.
There are several launch platforms at once: Steam, Microsoft Store, and, pleasantly, Xbox Game Pass. The most delicious thing is the complete cross—regression. Did you start on PlayStation or phone? Just log in with your account and continue. Do you want to start from scratch? Also no problem.

Where and when to get Legends on PC
So, on May 4, 2026, at 11:30 UTC, the game becomes available. On three platforms at once: Steam, Microsoft Store and inside Xbox Game Pass (as a separate installation). There are no “exclusives for Epic” or links to a single store — the developers decided not to be petty.

How to drag the old progress — instructions for the lazy
Everything is simpler than it seems. Launch Legends via Steam, select “Log in with an existing account”, specify where you are from (console or mobile phone) and confirm the link. Voila — the progress is pulled up automatically. You don’t need to create a new account, the old credentials are enough.
But there is a setup for Microsoft Store users. Synchronization works there only through a Microsoft account. PlayStation or Google login won’t work. Steam rules in this regard — it supports all five login options.
What the Game Pass gives you on top (spoiler: don’t pay, don’t be afraid)
The game is already free-to-play. The subscription does not open the downloaded content — it just sprinkles bonuses on top. Every week subscribers collect:
-
5 Promotion Orders
-
10 Type 2 Camouflages
-
Rare Booster Packs (Combat Experience, Ship experience, Commander experience, Credits)
Plus, once at the start — 2500 doubloons. It’s a nice addition to your pocket.
An important caveat: the weekly mission can only be completed in the Xbox version or the version from the Microsoft Store. The Steam client is not suitable for this. But once the task is done, all the rewards are synchronized via cross—regression and are available on any platform. It’s tricky, but it works.
In parallel, the original World of Warships (yes, it’s a separate game) rolled out update 15.3. It’s not small — we’ve added fresh events and content. From the main one: the German destroyer ZH-1 (level IX), which can be crafted in the “Shipyard”.
In addition, there are two event passes. They are called “Golden Week” and “Battle in the Coral Sea”. Each has 15 reward levels: containers, premium currency and other buns. By the way, starting on April 9, the game will be included in the Xbox Game Pass — beginners will be given a starter set of missions.
But that’s not all. The eighth (!) wave of collaboration with Azur Lane will take place from April 29 to June 17. Expected: Six new ships, unique skins, flags and special commanders. For fans of the series, this is a must—visit event.
In addition, there are a bunch of fixes and minor improvements. The developers say that this should make the game more comfortable. We’ll see.
