Stormind Games has released the launch trailer for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, and also announced the exact date. The final installment of the horror trilogy will reach players on October 27, 2026. However, not all sources agree: some publishers (for example, Rutab) insist on the 29th. This is likely a simple editorial mix-up—October 27 appears in the official trailer and in most industry media, so we’ll use that as a guide.
This time, the action takes place in Sicily. The main character, a girl named Susan, is searching for her missing daughter and finds herself in a gloomy estate where the myth of the Red Nun originated. According to the developers, Red Nun’s Legacy will close all the story arcs started in Tormented Fathers (2018) and Broken Porcelain (2020). You can also play the game without having played the previous games—the developers promise it’ll be easy to understand for newcomers.
Let’s move on to the platforms—the list will appeal to players: PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. There are no pre-orders yet, but Steam is running discounts on the first two games in the series—apparently to whet interest before the finale. The price of the new game is unknown, as are details of the physical edition (although a collaboration with Maximum Entertainment has already been announced).
According to the trailer, the developers are focusing on a psychological horror game with stealth elements—nothing radically new, but fans don’t need that. The main question is: will they heed the criticism leveled at Broken Porcelain? The second game seriously tarnished the series’ reputation with technical issues and questionable design decisions.
