Publisher 2K, together with Visual Concepts studio, have published the first full gameplay trailer for NBA 2K27. The full release of virtual basketball is scheduled for September 4, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The video includes a whole bunch of improvements: a redesigned defensive AI, a dynamic Dunk Meter, 19 new MyPLAYER icons, and a recreated Rucker Park street court. But the developers saved a detailed analysis of all systems for a special stream – it will take place on August 18 at 20:00 Moscow time.

What was shown in the NBA 2K27 gameplay trailer
The gameplay video not only shows a beautiful picture, but also clearly highlights point changes in balance and animations. The developers clearly sought to correct long-standing problems of the series and refresh the usual pace of matches.

Unified Auction House: The developers have decided to completely simplify trading in MyTEAM by unifying the market for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as eliminating verification delays.

Updated metropolis: The City mode has replaced the bustle of the day with a nighttime neon aesthetic, and the legendary Rucker Park site has become a key location for the MyCAREER “Fire & Concrete” plot.
