A 130GB archive, dated 2022, was leaked in private channels. It contains over twenty compressed files: maps, dialogue, character models, and other pre-made files. One user not only posted the footage online but also included a short summary of what they saw.

The 120-130 GB archive surfaced on Discord. An anonymous user simply uploaded a ZIP file containing thousands of files: models, maps, and dialogue from the 2022 build. Moderators quickly deleted the threads on Reddit and Discord for being pirated, but screenshots and details had already spread across /r/metro and GamingLeaksAndRumours.
The threads were deleted within hours. Meanwhile, the Metro community sifted through the remains: tunnel maps, hazmat suits, and drafts of quests featuring Hunter and Borovik.
There is no official confirmation of who exactly leaked the materials. Leak experts are placing their bets on a former 4A Games employee or a hacker from the developers’ private chat.
