On April 28, ARC Raiders will receive a voluminous patch – with a new map, an enemy and an unexpected bonus for PS5 Pro. The developers from Embark Studios have confirmed that their cooperative shooter has learned to take advantage of all the advantages of Sony’s most powerful console. The rest of the details were also discussed – and there is something to see there.
The team is not slowing down. ARC Raiders is updated regularly: bugs are fixed, content is added, gameplay is polished. Tomorrow, April 28, patch 1.26 will be enabled on the servers. And it is, apparently, one of the largest since the release.

ARC Raiders Patch 1.26: New Riven Tides Map, Enemy and Loot Detector
Riven Tides location: abandoned resort and shipyard in the Rust Belt
The main thing is a location called Riven Tides. This is a desert coast in the western Rust Belt. Players will find themselves in an abandoned resort, next to which rises a gigantic shipyard. The place looks like it was once paradise – and now there is only rust and wind.
New enemy ARC Turbine and non-standard battle tactics
The second thing that will make veterans sweat is a new opponent. ARC Turbine. He has unique habits, and you can’t just overwhelm him (the developers promise non-standard tactics).
Shore Combing mechanics: detector, sand and ambushes
And thirdly, a mechanic that was not yet in the game. State of the “Coast Combing” map. It looks like this: you are given a detector, it occupies a weapon slot. With its help you need to look for loot under a layer of sand. The quality of finds varies from run to run. The boldest points are well covered – prepare for ambushes.
Tellingly, Embark Studios not only added content, but also remembered PS5 Pro owners. The console will receive graphical improvements – without specifics, but it seems that we are talking about stable FPS and clearer shadows. A nice bonus for those who managed to buy the enhanced version of Sony.
In short, it’s worth stopping by on April 28th. A new map, a dangerous boss and an unusual loot search are reasons to return to the Rust Belt. And the detector, which takes up a weapon slot, is the only aspect that looks controversial. But it’s more interesting to take risks, right?
New event, bird alarm and three pages of rewards
The developers didn’t limit themselves to just one map. Patch 1.26 launches the Last Measure event. The bottom line: the experience you gain in any location will be converted into merit. At the same time, miniature ship models will begin to appear in the world; finding them will also give you additional experience.
The authors have prepared three pages of awards. There’s a new suit, a backpack, emotions, and 250 tokens. The event will last until May 25, so there is time to level up.
By the way, they will add one more task – “Bird Alarm”. You need to place bird cages along the coast and go through five stages. For this you will be given the same detector (yes, the one for searching for loot), another 250 tokens and other goodies.
ARC Raiders on PS5 Pro: PSSR improves the image without losing FPS
And now the main thing for owners of Sony’s most powerful console. Embark Studios has confirmed that starting April 28, ARC Raiders will receive an improved version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution. It’s called PSSR. It sounds like a bunch of letters, but in reality it’s a serious thing.
What will change:

The picture will become clearer – there will be fewer artifacts and ripples.

Objects in motion will be rendered better. We’re talking about vegetation being swayed by the wind and fast drones flying across the screen. Previously they could blur, but now they don’t.

Transparent effects and particles will no longer leave trails (this artifact is called “ghosting”). It is especially noticeable during rain and in batches, where everything explodes and sparkles.
An important point: all this without loss of performance. That is, you get higher image quality, but FPS does not suffer. Embark note that implementation took a minimum of effort, and the result exceeds expectations – both in open locations and in dynamic battles.
Cosmetic sets in patch 1.26 and ARC Raiders content plan for May
There were some new things too. Two cosmetic sets will become available immediately after the patch. Three more will be released during May. The developers, it seems, have decided not to spread themselves thin: content will be added in portions so that players do not get bored.
ARC Raiders is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. There is text localization in Russian – you don’t have to be afraid of incomprehensible menus.
