Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are preparing to release new story content for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora—the From the Ashes expansion. It will be available to players on December 19, coinciding with the premiere of the long-awaited film Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The events of the expansion take place a few weeks after the conclusion of the film and approximately six months after the main game and previous updates. The primary subject is So’lek, an experienced Trr’on clan warrior who escaped attacks on his home village from the Ash Clan, a dangerous new foe, as well as the corporate behemoth RDA. So’lek awakens in a flaming Pandora at the start of the story and sets out on a treacherous quest to save his friends and family.
The From the Ashes expansion costs $20. Additionally, the game itself and the new story content will be included in the $40 special edition Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes Edition.
