He made the amusing announcement directly from his personal Telegram channel, posting a picture of himself proudly sporting an EG jersey, setting the stage for his new chapter with the long-held squad.

Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov has denied rumors of his return to the professional scene.

He recently confirmed that he has joined one of the most renowned and decorated esports organizations, Evil Geniuses, founded in 1999 in the United States. The team is renowned for its achievements in the international Dota 2 arena.

The player posted a photo of the Evil Geniuses jersey on his Telegram channel on his social media accounts.

It immediately becomes clear that the American company legally disbanded its Dota 2 roster and laid off a large number of employees on November 2, 2023. Team manager Vitória “Guashineen” Paula Fonseca Otero issued the statement the same day.

On March 18, Shkredov announced a temporary break from his career. He publicly stated on his Telegram channel that he no longer found enjoyment and inspiration in the professional Dota 2 scene. He made the intelligent choice to spend his time traveling, streaming, and having fun instead.

Two encrypted messages had previously been published in the Telegram channels of Anton and his girlfriend, Evgeniya “Sony9sha” Elizarova.
