PUBG Mobile is preparing update 4.6, and there’s already enough information for a decent digest. Let’s break it down, from costumes to collaboration leaks.

The new X-suit will be released on August 1st – what’s changed?
The developers have updated the materials for the next X-suit – now they use Star Forge Stones and Star Fragments. The release date is August 1st, 2026. The suit comes with three different shapes to choose from, meaning the player can choose which one to get. The developers have revealed the full list of rewards for the X-suit separately, and there’s plenty to see.

By the way, information has also surfaced about yellow hair – that long-awaited cosmetic item. Its return is apparently planned for November, but this is unofficial – we’re awaiting confirmation from the developers themselves.

Demon Slayer Collaboration – No Official Announcement Yet
The main intrigue of update 4.6 is a collaboration with Demon Slayer (aka Demon Slayer), the cult anime from Ufotable based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga. The plot revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, who attempts to restore his sister Nezuko to human form after a demon attack – familiar material, and the title has a huge audience.

There are no official announcements from PUBG Mobile yet, only leaks. But judging by how such collaborations usually unfold, confirmation is just around the corner.
Another collaboration in 4.6? A line about One Piece was found in the beta
This is where things get more interesting. In the 4.6.1 beta, data miners unearthed the line “One Piece Buggy” – and this is in the wake of the already announced Demon Slayer collaboration. It appears the developers are preparing two thematic lines within a single major update.

Apparently, the One Piece collaboration isn’t a leak, but a confirmed fact. Included:
-
Motor Cruise roulette – similar to the already familiar Dodge;
-
collaboration with Lincoln.
A third collaboration is also planned – with One-Punch Man, but it will only be available to the Korean client. This collaboration won’t be coming to the global server or the Russian region, so don’t count on it.
Update 4.6 Beta Schedule – Four Stages
Testing for Update 4.6 has been divided into four beta waves:
-
Beta 1 (July 30–August 5) – no new version content, technical work.
-
Beta 2 (August 6–August 12) – a themed mode on Erangel, “World of Wonders” updates.
-
Beta 3 (August 13–August 20) — the same content as the second wave, plus Metro Royale.
-
Beta 4 (August 21–August 23) — the final version of the update before release.
The developers themselves have warned that the dates may shift, as has happened with previous updates. So the schedule is tentative, not set in stone.
What else has been added in this update?
The game’s character case has been updated, and a mythical set for Andi has been added. The developers also announced an autoflight feature, which is expected to arrive in Update 4.6. Details are still scarce, but the addition of this mechanic is noteworthy.

Overall, Update 4.6 promises to be packed with content, including cosmetics, several collaborations, and an extended beta. We’ll be keeping an eye on the official announcements and updating this article as they are confirmed.
