Electronic Arts has finally revealed the official system requirements for EA Sports FC 27 for PC. And the developers have not revised the bar – the minimum and recommended specs are identical to those required for FC 26 and even FC 25. This means owners of computers built several years ago do not have to worry about upgrading.

The release is scheduled for September 25, 2026, and pre-orders are already open – the game’s page has appeared on Steam. Ultimate Edition owners will get early access a week earlier, starting September 17. The standard edition will cost €70 on PC and €80 on consoles in Europe, and $70 in the US, regardless of platform.

EA Sports FC 27 Minimum PC Specs

To run at minimum settings, you will need:

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-6600K
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 570 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • RAM: 8 GB (dual-channel mode)
  • Disk space: 100 GB
  • DirectX: version 12
  • Internet connection: broadband

With this hardware, the game will easily run at 720p at 60 fps on low graphics settings.

EA Sports FC 27 Recommended System Requirements

For a comfortable gameplay experience at high settings, the developers recommend:

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel Core i7-6700
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660
  • RAM: 12 GB (dual-channel mode)
  • Disk space: 100 GB
  • DirectX: version 12
  • Internet connection: broadband

Why FC 27 System Requirements Did Not Change?

At first glance, the situation seems ambiguous. EA’s annual football simulator traditionally receives fresh content, updated rosters, and licenses, but its hardware requirements remain the same. The main reason is the game’s cross-generation status. FC 27 is coming not only to PC and current-gen consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S), but also to PS4 and Xbox One. Support for legacy platforms automatically curbs the graphical leap – an engine cannot make significant progress if it still has to adapt to eight-year-old hardware. Therefore, the visual improvements in the launch trailer were limited, and the imagery only improves on last year’s in minor ways.

Furthermore, optimization of Frostbite – the engine on which the series is built – has long since plateaued. A significant jump in requirements would only be possible with a generational change or a radical overhaul of the graphics pipeline. That moment is likely still a couple of years away. The elaborate textures and effects seen in the trailer were created with older consoles in mind – which is why a hardware upgrade for FC 27 is not necessary.

Denuvo Protection and Online Activation in FC 27

Denuvo crack

EA has officially confirmed that the PC version will feature Denuvo Anti-Tamper protection, the publisher’s standard solution for major releases. The same system was used in FC 26. Furthermore, online activation via the EA App will be required to launch the game, even if you purchased the game on Steam. This is not news for fans of the series: a similar system has been in place for a while. Upon first launch, the system will verify your license online, after which you can play single-player modes without a permanent connection.

Impact of Anti-Tamper Protection on FPS

The impact of Denuvo on performance is a common concern for the community. Some players complain of stuttering and FPS drops, although official benchmarks for FC 27 are not yet available. It’s worth noting that the anti-piracy layer and the background operation of the EA App can significantly impact the CPU, especially on systems that barely meet the minimum requirements. However, if your PC can handle FC 26 at the recommended settings, an extra 5-10% load is unlikely to be critical.

Hardware Summary

The bottom line is simple: if your computer handled EA Sports FC 26, it will not have any problems with FC 27. The main thing is to remember to activate it and be prepared for Denuvo to slow down the game slightly on weaker hardware.
