Tides of Tomorrow is based on an expansive yet linear storyline, though your decisions occasionally alter the course of events. You explore the island, learn its history, and then move on. But there are also elements that break up this structure: scattered piles of scrap metal, notes with lore, and even a captain at the Main Outpost. How do I find the captain at the outpost?
The quiz is available only before—or, more accurately, only during—your first visit to the Main Outpost. After you leave, you won’t see him again.
Enter the main gate—a guard will let you through if your Tideward hasn’t ruined your relationship with the locals. Inside, you’ll see a scene: a guy’s Ozen is stolen and he’s pushed away. Leading this small sprint after the victim, head to the yellow house on the right. Follow him, climb the stairs, and beyond that, there will be steps to the roof. The captain is waiting right there.
