South Korean esports Legends T1 has released the official roster for the upcoming Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS) 2026 season. The six talents, a mix of proven veterans and fresh blood, are preparing to storm the regional stages in order to eventually get a ticket to the final of the OWCS World Championship at the end of this year.

The current composition of T1 and the role of Poko in OWCS 2026

An interesting point is that the organization is not limited to just players: Gael “Poko” Gouzerch joined the Overwatch team, however, in the role of a streamer. This guy has been hacking tanks since 2016 and brought with him an army of 188,000 followers on Twitch. As for the main squad, the backbone of the 2025 season has been preserved, but there have been some point replacements. Kim “Bliss” So-myung, apparently, became the final piece of the puzzle — she took a supportive position, replacing Kim “vigilante” Jun, who left the club back in January.

This is what the T1 combat team looks like, which will defend the tag in 2026:

  • Kim “DONGHAK” Min-Sung — Tank;
  • Hong “Proud” Suk-jin — Damage;
  • Kim “skewed” Min-seok — Support;
  • Kim “ZEST” Hyun-woo — Damage;
  • Jeong “jasm1ne” Jong-min Tank;
  • Kim “Bliss” So-myung — Support.

T1 match schedule at WDG Studio in Seoul

At the moment, T1, in principle, holds the status of a partner team in Asia for the OWCS 2026 season. The competition there is wild — Crazy Raccoon, Team Falcons and other tops will not let you relax. Most likely, the team will first go to a training camp in Seoul — this is the first major event in the Overwatch calendar for 2026. By the way, fans should get ready: you can see the guys in action from February 12th to 15th at the WDG studio in Hongdae.

The team’s results at the World Finals and plans for the season

Last year, T1 gained a foothold in the status of one of the strongest Korean gangs. Stable dominance at three stages of the OWCS — including two silver medals at the second and third — allowed them to fly to the largest LAN tournaments: Midseason Championship and World Finals. At the Midseason, which was held as part of the 2025 World Esports Championship, the Koreans jumped to fourth place out of 16, leaving behind even the triumphant Champions Clash — Crazy Raccoon.

At the final final of the OWCS World Championship in DreamHack Stockholm, the team also showed its teeth, sharing 5th-6th place with Weibo Gaming. The coming year promises to be even more intense, with large—scale tournaments in Japan and China. Let’s see if T1 has enough strength to go higher this time.

Forecast for the season: Will T1 become the world champion in 2026?

Will T1 be champions in 2026

The South Korean T1 grand closed 2025 with a solid record of performances at the World Finals, where the team not only stayed at the top of the table, but also steadily imposed the fight on the favorites. Against this background, the esports analyst naturally boils down to one question: will the accumulated experience and teamwork be enough to seriously compete for the OWCS world title in 2026? The answer directly depends on several key factors.

Stable T1 roaster as the key to success in OWCS 2026

The organization has kept the core of the team without drastic changes — a rare and valuable move for the Overwatch scene, where reshafls have long been the norm. This stability has already borne fruit in the 2025 season, when T1 regularly reached the playoffs and felt confident against the top teams from Asia and Europe. In the conditions of the Overwatch 2026 meta, where flexibility and quick adaptation to patches are important, a played roster provides a tangible advantage without the need for long lapping.

LAN T1 experience and its impact on OWCS results

T1 approached the new season with a serious LAN background: the Midseason Championship, the World Finals and the DreamHack final in Stockholm were a good test of strength. This experience is especially valuable in decisive matches, where the pressure of the stands and the format of the series often break down less prepared teams. In the busy OWCS 2026 calendar, it is precisely this hardening that can play a key role — especially in the confrontations with Crazy Raccoon and Team Falcons, which remain the main rivals in the region.

Vector for 2026: the struggle for Asian leadership

Competition in Asia is only intensifying: Falcons continue to gain shape, Crazy Raccoon are strengthening pointwise, and Gen.G is gradually closing the gap with the leaders. In such conditions, T1 relies on discipline, macro-play and adaptation to the meta, rather than on drastic experiments. If the team holds the level of the end of 2025 and avoids declines during the season, it can be safely considered one of the main contenders to reach the OWCS Worlds finals. At the same time, the final LAN events, including the decisive stages of DreamHack, will become the main indicator of the team’s real ambitions.

Key Factors for OWCS 2026 Season

Roster Stable roster without reshuffles Crazy Raccoon: targeted reinforcements
LAN Experience Regular top finishes in 2025 Team Falcons: strong preparation
Meta 2026 Flexibility for dive strategies and patches Strengthening of the Asian region (Gen.G)
Outlooks Among the favorites for OWCS Worlds Falcons and Raccoon — direct competitors
