Calling esports just a “sphere” is like calling the ocean a puddle. In fact, we are dealing with a giant machine of hundreds of clubs and publishers, which in 2026, apparently, decided to finally take over the stadiums. Tournaments spread from small studios to arenas of thousands, and not getting entangled in this madness is still a challenge.
Especially for those who don’t want to miss the triumph of their favorite tag, We have published an updated list of key events of the year.. Everything is here — from the regional battles of Riot Games to the CS2 and Dota world finals. The first publication, by the way, was recorded on January 16.
Table of Contents
The main esports tournaments of January 2026
January 2026 begins with a start. While everyone is finishing their salads, the M7 Mobile Legends is already thundering in Indonesia — perhaps the most hyped mobile event in the world. By the way, the “monsters” from Riot are waking up in the same month: the season in League of Legends and VALORANT starts almost simultaneously in all regions.
Curiously, Apex Legends decided not to wait for spring and immediately rolled out the World Cup in Japan — the ALGS promises to be hot.
MATCH SCHEDULE: Who, Where & When
| Discipline | Event | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| MLBB | M7 World Championship | Indonesia | Jan 3 – Jan 25 |
| Apex Legends | ALGS: Championship 2026 | Japan | Jan 15 – Jan 18 |
| CS2 | IEM Kraków 2026 | Poland | Jan 28 – Feb 2 |
| League of Legends | LCK Cup (South Korea) | Seoul | Jan 14 – Feb 1 |
| VALORANT | VCT Americas Kickoff | USA | Jan 15 – Feb 15 |
Regional Leagues of Korea, China and Europe
The LCK Cup starts in South Korea on January 14th, which will be powerful considering their level of preparation. In China, two heavyweights fly in at once on the same day: the LPL for the “League” and the King Pro League spring split for Honor of Kings.
Interestingly, CS2 opens this year with BLAST Bounty Winter in Malta (January 22-25), which is a great warm—up for the legendary IEM in Krakow. In truth, the Polish tournament, which begins on January 28, is an event that any shooter fan should not miss.
There is also good news for fans of fighting games: the final of the Tekken World Tour 2025 will be held in Sweden at the junction of January and February. In general, the beginning of the year looks as dense as possible. Even Call of Duty, apparently, does not give fans a break — the first stage of CDL in the USA starts on January 29.
By the way, Honor of Kings is moving to Indonesia at the end of the month with the fourth season of KIS. It seems that Asia has finally secured its status as the main esports mecca in 2026.
In general, keep an eye on updates — the list will be updated as soon as publishers roll out new announcements.
Competition schedule for February and March

To be honest, February 2026 promises to be a real test for chairs and monitors. The most high—profile event, apparently, will unfold in Paris – the iconic Rainbow Six Siege Invitational will once again bring together top teams to compete for one of the most prestigious trophies in the industry. In fact, it won’t just be a tournament, but a pilgrimage for Siege fans to France.
At the same time, powerful LAN events on VALORANT, CS2 and Dota will be held in America and Europe. Apparently, the organizers decided not to give us a break for a single day.
FEBRUARY SCHEDULE: Who’s Making Moves
| Discipline | Event Name | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rainbow Six | Six Invitational 2026 | France | Feb 2 – Feb 15 |
| Dota 2 | BLAST Slam VI | Malta | Feb 3 – Feb 15 |
| CS2 | PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 | Romania | Feb 9 – Feb 22 |
| Rocket League | RLCS 2026: Boston Major | USA | Feb 19 – Feb 22 |
| VALORANT | Masters Santiago 2026 | Chile | Feb 28 – Mar 15 |
Dota 2 in February is a different story. BLAST Slam VI in Malta is a top venue, really. And immediately after that, the 28th season of DreamLeague starts, which, apparently, will be held online from February 16 to March 1. By the way, in Romania, at the same time, PGL Cluj-Napoca on CS2 will make all shooter fans nervous — the launch is scheduled for February 9th.
March: Japanese Fighting and British Dota 2

In March, the focus of attention, in principle, shifts to the East and the Foggy Albion. Japan will turn into a mecca for fans of bruising — three major fighting game tournaments will be held there at once, including Capcom Cup 12 and the Virtua Fighter 5 finals. In general, Street Fighter 6 is currently on such a hype that these events (March 11-15) promise to be simply explosive.
Main dates of Dota 2 and CS2 tournaments
In the UK, meanwhile, it will be hot in its own way. The ESL One Dota 2 series will land in Birmingham on March 22nd. And here’s the most interesting thing — the second major of the Call of Duty League will be held there at the end of the month (March 27-29).
For VALORANT fans, spring is the time for the start of the first stage of VCT in all regions (USA, China, Korea, Germany). It looks like Riot Games is rolling out heavy artillery. And League of Legends, to be honest, will surprise everyone with the international First Stand event, which will be held in Brazil from March 16 to 22.
List of key dates in March:
-
Virtua Fighter 5: The Open Champion Finals in Japan — March 1st.
-
Dota 2: PGL Wallachia Season 7 (Romania) — from March 5 to March 15.
-
CS2: ESL Pro League S23 in Sweden — March 13-15 (curiously, it’s so short).
-
CS2: BLAST Open Spring in the Netherlands and Denmark — March 18-29.
Spring 2026 is the time when the esports calendar is literally bursting at the seams. We will update this guide as we go along — as soon as publishers or organizers like ESL or PGL roll out the latest details or change locations.
Calendar of events for April and May 2026

April 2026, to be honest, looks like a real marathon for League of Legends fans. After a lull in the first stage, the teams break into the regular season, and the geography is impressive: from the USA and Germany to China and Brazil. But the most interesting thing will unfold in London. The legendary Red Bull Wolf of Age of Empires II will be held there. Apparently, the organizers decided that the British capital was the best place to crown a new world champion.
Major LAN Tournaments in April (CS2 & Dota 2 Focus)
| Game | Tournament | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Age of Empires II | Red Bull Wololo: Londinium | United Kingdom | Apr 1 – Apr 6 |
| CS2 | PGL Bucharest 2026 | Romania | Apr 3 – Apr 11 |
| League of Legends | LCP Split 2 | Taiwan | Apr 4 – Jun 7 |
| Dota 2 | PGL Wallachia Season 8 | Romania | Apr 16 – Apr 26 |
| Fortnite | FNCS Major 1 Final | Online | Apr 25 – Apr 26 |
For fans of Contra, April will be a holiday in general — the announcement of four major events has been rolled out at once. Apparently, the main heat wave will go to Rio (IEM Rio 2026) and Bucharest. In addition to this, Epic Games will host the first major of the Fortnite season. The finals are still announced online. Meanwhile, the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup will be held in China, starting on April 25, by the way.
MAY 2026: Parisian Major and Kazakh Landing
May picks up the baton even more cheerfully. To be honest, I’m waiting for the RLCS Paris Major — The Rocket League goes to France on May 20th, and it’s going to be powerful. Fighting game fans are occupying Japan at this time, because Evo Japan 2026 will be held from May 1st to May 3rd.
PGL Astana and Evo Japan tournaments in May
Let’s put it this way that CS2 will reach the most unexpected places in May. It seems that PGL Astana 2026 in Kazakhstan (May 7-17) will be one of the most discussed events of the spring. Immediately after that, the squads will move to China for the Asian CS 2026 Championship.
Briefly on the remaining dates:
-
Fortnite: FNCS Major 1 Summit 2026 is the top LAN event of the month.
-
Dota 2: The 29th season of DreamLeague will be held online from May 13 to May 24.
-
Call of Duty: CDL Stage 3 Major — USA, mid-month (May 15-17).
-
Brawl Stars: Brawl Stars Cup — no exact location yet, but we are waiting for May.
As a result, the spring season will be closed by BLAST Slam VII on Dota, which will begin on May 26. The venue is still being kept secret — apparently, they want to stir up intrigue. In short, prepare your devices, you will have to watch a lot and often.
CS2 and Valorant Summer Majors in June

June 2026, apparently, will be the boiling point for all fans of “shooting games”. The main news that the organizers have rolled out is the major status for the legendary IEM Cologne. ESL decided not to be petty and turned Cologne into the epicenter of CS2 for three weeks. If you thought that was it, then you shouldn’t have. League of Legends and VALORANT aren’t going to give up airtime without a fight either.
| Discipline | Event | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| CS2 | IEM Cologne Major 2026 | Germany | Jun 02 – Jun 21 |
| VALORANT | Masters London 2026 | United Kingdom | Jun 06 – Jun 21 |
| LoL | MSI 2026 | South Korea | Jun 26 – Jul 12 |
| FGC | EVO 2026 | USA | Jun 26 – Jun 28 |
| Call of Duty | CDL Stage 4 Major | France | Jun 25 – Jun 28 |
Let’s admit that the London VALORANT Masters in the middle of the month is a serious challenge for Cologne. At the same time, EVO 2026 will unfold in the States, where fans of fighting games will find out whose reflexes are cooler. In addition to this, the PUBG Nations Cup promises to bring together national teams in June, although the venue is still, to be honest, foggy.
ULY 2026: Desert Drive and Final Chords
When July arrives, all eyes will probably shift to Saudi Arabia. The World Esports Championship (EWC) starts there — a real vinaigrette of disciplines, from Apex Legends to PUBG. League of Legends will be there too, and the Riyadh tournament has been squeezed into a very busy schedule between the LCS and LEC summer splits.

CDL Finals and EWC World Championships in July
In fact, July is the month of the regional leagues. The second and third splits will start in Brazil, the USA, Germany and China. But there are also a couple of unique things.
1. Age of Empires II: The Brazilian Dynasty tournament at the very beginning of the month (July 1-5) is unexpectedly cool for old—school fans.
2. Call of Duty League Championship 2026: The Grand Final of the year in the USA from July 16 to July 19. It’s powerful.
3. CS2: Maltese BLAST Bounty at the end of the month (30.07 – 02.08) will be a great dessert.
As a result, summer promises to be hot not because of the weather, but because of the schedule. Apparently, the players will have to forget about vacations. Apparently, 2026 will be a record year for the number of flights — from Bucharest to Sao Paulo, and from there to Taipei. In short, get ready for sleepless nights at the monitors. It will be legendary.
AUTUMN CYBERDRIVE 2026: From Chinese INT to American Worlds
August 2026, to be honest, promises to be the toughest month for those who are used to watching everything at once. The main HYPE, apparently, will be concentrated in China — that’s where Valve moved The International 2026. While the doters will fight for the Aegis, Saudi Arabia will continue to flood the market with money for the Esports World Cup, where the Rocket League and CS2 will be in focus.
The International 2026 & Esports World Cup
| Discipline | Event | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dota 2 | The International 2026 | China | Aug 13 – Aug 23 |
| CS2 | Esports World Cup 2026 | Saudi Arabia | Aug 12 – Aug 23 |
| Overwatch 2 | Overwatch World Cup 2026 | USA | August – Sep 13 |
| Marvel Rivals | Mid-Season Finals | TBA | August |
| PUBG Mobile | World Cup 2026 | Saudi Arabia | August |
Properly that the debut of Marvel Rivals on the big stage is interesting. Fortnite fans should mark August 8-9 on the calendar, when the FNCS Major 2 finals will be held, however, online. In addition, the BLAST Open Fall starts in Denmark at the end of the month (26.08).
SEPTEMBER 2026: Coronation Time

In September, there will be a lull before the storm, but the two disciplines will definitely take all the headlines. It’s about VALORANT and Rocket League. The World Championships are always about tears and huge prize money. VALORANT Champions 2026 will be held in China, which is quite logical, given the growth of the region.
Valorant and Rocket League World Championships:
-
VALORANT Champions 2026: The main show of the year starts on September 24 and lasts until mid-October. It’s powerful.
-
RLCS 2026 World Championship: From September 15th to 20th, the world will discover the best “drivers” in the Rocket League. The location is still, apparently, secret.
-
Dota 2: Romania will host PGL Wallachia S9 (17.09 – 27.09). This is, in principle, a good warm-up after Inta.
OCTOBER 2026: Peak of Esports Power
If you’re asking when the real holiday will come, it’s October. League of Legends World Championship 2026 returns to the USA — it is, in fact, the Olympics from the world of video games. At the same time, China will host the King Pro League final for Honor of Kings, a tournament that gathers, frankly, exorbitant viewing figures in the East.
Dates of LoL Worlds 2026 and ESL Pro League:
-
LoL Worlds 2026: October 16 – November 14, USA. The main event of the planet.
-
ESL Pro League S24: October 3-11, Poland. Classic CS2.
-
Thunderpick World Championship: October 14-18 in Malta. Apparently, for those who like cozy but high-profile tournaments.
-
PGL Masters Bucharest: Will end the month in Romania (October 24-31).
As a result, the autumn of 2026 looks like an endless marathon. In fact, fans won’t have any free time at all. In short, prepare your devices and stock up on coffee — the schedule, apparently, will be for survival.
THE FINAL CHORD OF 2026: Where the Fate of the Championship Rings Is Decided

November 2026, to be honest, promises to be the toughest month for those who are used to watching everything at once — from shooters to mobile phones. The main HYPE, apparently, will be concentrated in Southeast Asia, because that’s where PGL will hold its second CS2 major in a year. While dotcom players and tactical combat fans are counting the prize money, Marvel Rivals and Fortnite will officially close their competition cycles, crowning the best of the best.
NOVEMBER SCHEDULE: FROM SINGAPORE TO THE TURKISH COAST
| Discipline | Event | Location | Dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| CS2 | PGL Major Singapore 2026 | Singapore | Nov 25 – Dec 13 |
| PUBG Mobile | Global Championship 2026 | Turkey | November |
| CS2 | IEM China 2026 | China | Nov 2 – Nov 8 |
| Marvel Rivals | Ignite 2026: Grand Final | TBA | November |
| CS2 | BLAST Rivals Fall 2026 | Hong Kong | Nov 11 – Nov 15 |
DECEMBER 2026: The Last Bullets of the Year
In December, there will be a logical lull along the way, but one discipline will definitely take all the attention. It’s about the classic PUBG. The World Cup is always about nerves and incredible highlights. The PUBG Global Championship 2026 is the only major announcement for the end of the year so far, which is quite expected, given the congestion in November.
PUBG Global Championship results and finals of the year:
-
PUBG Global Championship 2026: The main show of the year for fans of royal battles. The site has not been named yet, but the scale will be huge.
-
Completion of PGL Major Singapore: The CS2 Major finals will be played for almost half of December (until 13.12). Powerful.
-
Expectations: Apparently, minor tournaments will be added to this list soon, but the basic framework is already clear.
As a result, the 2026 finals look like an endless marathon of endurance. In fact, fans won’t have any free time at all — tournaments in China, Hong Kong and Turkey are literally overlapping. In short, get your devices ready and keep an eye on the announcements — the schedule, apparently, will be for survival.
