Brazilian player Ponter (Gabriel Amaral) has long been entrenched in the CS2 professional scene as a steady and reliable shooter. Over the years, he has played over 300 official matches, earned about $14,000 in prize money, and his name regularly appears in tournament summaries in South America. He earned his reputation as a stable athlete due to his confident play, discipline and ability to show results even under pressure. Ponter has 6 championship titles, 8 silver finals and 3 bronze achievements, and the most important trophy of his career is a triumph at CBCS Finals 2022 together with ARCTIC, where the team won a prize pool of more than $ 13,000. Over the course of his career, he has changed more than ten teams, constantly polishing his mechanical skills, adaptation and understanding of team strategies — all that is necessary for a player at the level of professional tournaments.

About the player

Ponter's professional career began in 2020, when he first entered the big stage, joining ex—Skullz at the Flashpoint Season 1 tournament. The team was not among the winners, but for the young player it was an important immersion into the real tournament rhythm, the atmosphere of LAN events and high competition. The next point of development was Campeonato Brasileiro de CS 2020 The Rising, where he played for Prodigy Esports. These early tournaments didn't bring him big wins, but they did give him a foundation of confidence, gaming experience, and an understanding of how demanding the professional CS scene is GO and CS2. Over the years, Ponter has defended the colors of Keyd Stars, Red Canids, BlackDragons e-Sports, ARCTIC, ODDIK and a number of other clubs. His career resembles a constant process of adaptation: each new team is a new style of play, a different tactic, a different approach to training. It was thanks to these transitions that he formed a flexible gaming style and became a more versatile esports player. During his entire career, Ponter participated in about 80 tournaments of various levels. Among the latter are the ESL Challenger League Season 49 and the CCT Season 2 South American Series, where he represented the Swingers team. Although these tournaments have not brought major trophies, the player continues to demonstrate stable form, high shooting performance and constant motivation to break into more prestigious competitions.

Result

Ponter is an example of a player who builds a career not through single bursts, but through consistency, perseverance, and work on individual skill, team communication, and tournament stability. He has experienced ups and downs, played for many bands and continues to be a part of the South American CS2 scene, striving for new victories and higher positions in the ratings.
