oxygeN (real name Blagoi Dimitrov) is a Bulgarian esports athlete for whom Counter—Strike 2 has become not just a game, but a way of life. His story is an example of how perseverance, passion, and self—belief can lead to success even in the most competitive esports environment. Over the years, Blagoi has come a long way on the professional stage: from the first uncertain steps in local tournaments to confident victories on international arenas. He has already played more than 500 matches and about $43,500 in prize money, and during his career he has reached the highest step of the podium 17 times, won second place six times and third four times. oxygeN is now defending the colors of 500 Esports, a team consistently ranked in the top 62 best in the world. But the numbers are only part of the story. The main thing about oxygeN is its approach to the game. He is one of those players who is not afraid to take risks, likes to create the moments that decide the round, and is able to turn the tide of the meeting with one well-aimed shot. His calmness, confidence and discipline set him apart from many other players, and his teammates call him a "quiet force" — a man who does his job quietly, but always with maximum dedication.

The beginning of the journey: from beginner to professional

oxygeN's journey began in 2020, when he first donned a Bpro Gaming uniform and took to the stage of the WINNERS League Season 4 tournament. Back then, everything was new — the noise of the audience, the tension, the realization that every action could change the outcome of the match. The team did not achieve much success, but for Blagoi it was the very start after which it was impossible to retreat. He recalls that it was then that he realized he wanted to dedicate his life to esports. The very next season, SKADE representatives noticed him, and a new stage began — training, trips, and the first serious rivals. Despite the setbacks in his debut tournaments, oxygeN grew rapidly, absorbing experience and learning from more experienced teammates. These first steps hardened his character, and each defeat became fuel for future victories.

Career growth and development

Over the following years, oxygeN has changed more than 12 teams, working with different lineups, coaches, and playing styles. He played for both large organizations — EIQ (Entropiq), OG Academy, and local Bulgarian teams, where he gained the same confidence and teamwork that later helped him reach a new level. His talent was particularly evident in the SKADE team, with which he won first place at the REPUBLEAGUE Season 1 and earned $ 48,500 in prize money. This achievement was an important turning point, not only in his career, but also in the player's sense of self: now he knew that he was capable of many things. Now, competing for 500 Esports, oxygeN continues to prove its skills. His ability to keep his cool in critical moments makes him a key element of the team. When the score is close and everything is decided in one round, oxygeN often takes the initiative.

Tournament achievements and playing style

Today, Blagoi has 108 tournaments under his belt, and the list of his achievements continues to grow. Recent successes include the second place at CCT Season 2 European Series #20 and participation in PGL Bucharest 2025, where he showed a confident game against renowned rivals. His style can be described as a combination of precision, intuition and composure. oxygeN does not rush into battle without a plan — it analyzes, reads opponents and chooses the moment for the decisive shot. This approach makes him dangerous even against more experienced opponents. He's getting more stable with each new tournament. Recent matches against DNE, AMKAL and IbS have shown how confident he feels as a leader. His high ADR, frequent headshots and competent positioning confirm that oxygeN is not just a player, he is a strategist and analyst on the battlefield.
