Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz is one of the most iconic professional CS:GO and CS2 players from Denmark. With four Major titles and dozens of MVP awards, dev1ce is considered one of the greatest talents in Counter-Strike history.

dev1ce CS:GO and CS2 Career

dev1ce started his professional career with Copenhagen Wolves. He competed at the very first CS:GO Major, DreamHack Winter 2013, where the team placed 5th-8th. In early 2014, dev1ce moved to Team Dignitas, joining former teammates from über G33KZ. Soon after, the American organization Team SoloMid (TSM) acquired the roster. Under the TSM banner, dev1ce and his team dominated the scene, winning multiple tournaments and reaching the semifinals at ESL One Cologne 2015. After internal disagreements, the players left TSM and briefly competed under the Question Mark tag before founding their own organization, Astralis, in early 2016. Astralis' form was inconsistent initially, but the team won the ELEAGUE Major 2017, marking the start of their legendary era. Following a tough finish at the Boston Major, Astralis signed Magisk, and soon began an era of dominance in CS:GO. In 2018 alone, dev1ce helped Astralis win 10 major tournaments, including the FACEIT Major 2018. Over the next two years, Astralis remained the top team, securing two more Major titles. In April 2021, dev1ce made a shocking transfer to Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) for $1 million. This move ended his six-year tenure with Astralis, during which he earned 28 trophies and 18 MVP awards, and appeared five times in HLTV's Top 20 rankings — four of them in the Top 3. Today, dev1ce continues his professional journey, competing in CS2 tournaments.
