The Dallas Fuel returns to Overwatch: Team roster and Envy’s plans for the 2026 OWCS tournament - Image 1

The Overwatch world is frozen in anticipation — Dallas Fuel is officially returning to the big stage. North American Legends, owned by the cult organization Envy, has rolled out the announcement of its roster for participation in the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) 2026. It’s cool, really. After a three-year hiatus since the end of the Overwatch League (OWL), where the guys, by the way, managed to take the championship in 2022, the brand is reviving to dictate its rules again.

The composition of the Dallas Fuel team for the OWCS 2026 season

The team, announced on January 22, is a powerful fusion of American talent and South Korean power. In fact, the roster is being demonstrated as a leadership bid.

The focus is on the North American trio, which will take on the roles of support and DPS:

  • Christopher ‘Cjay‘ Smith and Rocco ‘Kronik‘ Iacobacci — these two moved from Spacestation Gaming, where they showed the top level in 2025.
  • The Luke ‘Lukemino‘ Fish hatch The phish guy just won the Collegiate Homecoming Fall 2025 with the University of Illinois and is now ready to turn pro.

Actually, the Korean landing force in the person of Kim ‘Kellan‘ Min-jae and Park ‘SeonJun‘ Seon-jun should add the same Asian discipline to the team. Kellan, by the way, also comes from Spacestation, and Sungjun came on the wave of triumph from the G-Star Cup as part of the WAY team. Mike ‘Hastr0‘ Rufail, owner of Envy, has already called it “a new beginning for the most legendary team in history.” It’s an overstatement, but it’s well-founded.

Training camp in Seoul and show matches in Korea

The first test of strength will be the pre—season Bootcamp, which will be held in Seoul from February 12 to 15. Apparently, the organizers decided to give the partner teams a real celebration.

Overwatch 2 Pre-season Test Schedule and Format:

  1. Teams will have access to unreleased content and the competitive version of Overwatch 2.
  2. The show matches will bring together 11 league partners plus an invited Japanese squad.
  3. There is no money at stake — there is no prize pool — but in fact, this is an ideal testing ground before the official start of the 1st stage in March.

The most interesting thing will be how Dallas Fuel will perform in business. Envy’s return to esports looks logical — it would be foolish to bury such a recognizable brand when fans still remember their golden days. I wonder if the current fuse will be enough to regain the title of “shooter heroes” for the entire season. One thing is for sure: February will be hot, and Seoul will become the epicenter of this storm. In addition, it is worth considering that the level of competition in OWCS is now prohibitive, and there will be no easy walk — to be honest, this makes the game interesting.
