The current kings from MOUZ, by the way, have already confirmed their intention to defend the title at the upcoming PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. Apparently, such heavyweights as Team Vitality, FURIA and FaZe Clan will join them — the line-up promises to be really hot, really.
Interestingly, Team Spirit and Team Liquid — quite unexpectedly — decided to skip this celebration of esports. Their places in the Tier 1 roster of the event, in fact, went to the guys from paiN Gaming and HEROIC, who just successfully settled on the 17th and 18th lines of the January rating.
Here is the full list of those who will log on to the server in Cluj-Napoca.:
-
NAVI, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan and MOUZ are legends on the spot.
-
Team Vitality, Team Falcons and Astralis — ambitions are off the charts.
-
The MongolZ, Aurora Gaming, B8, Legacy are audacious contenders.
-
3DMAX, Parivision, HEROIC and paiN Gaming — bring up the rear.
This time, the list of organizations looks much more solid than last year — then, to be honest, only half of the teams from the world’s top 10 reached Romania. It was all the fault of the terrible schedule: the tournament started just five days after IEM Katowice 2025, and the top teams had to literally tear themselves apart — it’s a shame, but a fact.
PGL, by the way, plans to hold as many as five Counter-Strike events per year. In addition to the battles in Romania and Kazakhstan, the organizers, by the way, are preparing the ground for the second major in 2026 in Singapore — it will be powerful.
Recently, the Romanian government has rearranged its calendar for 2026 — it was strategically important to avoid overlaps with competitors. One of the autumn tournaments, which was planned for October, was canceled altogether due to a coincidence of dates, but a new slot was rolled out – from October 22 to November 2.

The teams chances and forecast for the winner of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026

At the upcoming PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 in Romania, the main forces of the global CS2 will converge — the battle for a piece of the pie of $ 1.25 million promises to be, in fact, ruthless. From October 24 to October 31, giants such as Team Spirit, FaZe Clan and Vitality will sort things out on Bucharest’s servers, and we admit, the layouts look as intriguing as possible, really.
Team Spirit is now head and shoulders above all competitors after its triumphant march in 2025. A machine named donk, by the way, continues to destroy opponents with AWP, keeping K/D above the 1.3 bar — it’s just crazy, to be honest. By the way, sh1ro firmly closes the flanks, and the tactical developments of the new magixx leader, apparently, provided the team with an impressive 70% of wins at LAN tournaments over the past year. Bookmakers, in general, rate their success at 28% — powerful, isn’t it.
FaZe Clan is still holding on strongly to the top of the HLTV ratings, riding on the personal skill of broky and rain. The guys show an excellent ADR above 85, but cap kaggidup, along the way, no longer has enough creativity when controlling the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on maps like Inferno and Mirage. Nevertheless, a 22% chance of a final victory is quite a logical alignment for a team that wins 65% of its cards.
Vitality, in fact, remains a team of one genius — ZywOo, with its monstrous 1.35 rating, still drags, but the last 0-2 from the “Dragons” revealed a lot of problems in pistol rounds. If apEX doesn’t actually figure out how to stabilize team actions, then their chances of winning the trophy are unlikely to rise above 20% — the numbers don’t lie, unfortunately for the fans.
| Team | Win Probability (%) | LAN Win Rate (2025) | Key Player (ADR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team Spirit | 28% | 72% | donk (92) |
| FaZe Clan | 22% | 68% | broky (88) |
| Vitality | 20% | 70% | ZywOo (95) |
| G2 Esports | 15% | 65% | m0NESY (90) |
The tournament will be held in a classic format: first, 16 teams will torment each other in the “Swiss”, and then the eight strongest will enter the bracket for elimination. The main muppul, apparently, will focus on Ancient, Mirage and Nuke — this is where the fate of a million dollars will be decided. It’s worth admitting that Spirit takes its aggression, FaZe relies on experience, and Vitality relies on the insights of its stars. It’s going to be a top—of-the-line show- with no options.
Guide on the format and purchase of tickets for PGL Major
The Swiss stage will bring together 16 teams — all games will be held in the format of series up to three wins (BO3). The top eight teams will eventually make it to the playoffs, where the main fight for the lion’s share of the prize pool will unfold – in principle, a solid $1.25 million is at stake.
You can watch the broadcasts on the official PGL channels on Twitch and YouTube. And for those who want to experience the atmosphere live, tickets are already available on iaBilet. It’s going to be a top show, no doubt.
