The last qualifying stage has been completed — as of today, all 16 teams that will compete for the world champion title are known. From December 12 to December 14, Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand) will host a real battle for the prize pool of one and a half million dollars.

How the Grand Final grid was formed

We have passed the crucial stage:

  • The 10 strongest from the group stage
  • The top 5 from the last stage
  • 1 team at the invitation of the hosts

Here is the full list of grand finals participants:

17 Gaming | Baegopa | BB Team | eArena | FN Esports | FREAKS | Natus Vincere | Nemiga Gaming | PENTAGRAM | T1 | Team Falcons | The Expendables | Tianba | Twisted Minds | Virtus.pro | invite team

Tournament format: 18 matches with no margin for error

The squads will play 18 matches over the course of three days. Each round brings points to the overall standings — the victory of the winner winner (as the chicken dinner is called in the community) gives a solid advantage, while frags are also taken into account.

The goal is simple: to score maximum points for the eliminations and top positions in the table. Whoever comes out on top after the final round will take the lion’s share of the prize pool.

Favorites and dark horses

The Expendables: Last year’s champions are back in business

The Vietnamese team defending the title confidently topped its group at the group stage — 157 points speak for themselves. The guys know how to take chicken dinners at crucial moments, and their experience can play a key role.

Team Falcons: Close to victory, but missing the last step

Team Falcons closed the group stage with a tournament record of 160 points. However, in 2025 they regularly appeared on the third line of the finals: PUBG Global Series 7-9, Esports World Cup… It’s time to break these statistics and finally take the gold.

Nemiga Gaming: The return after a seven-year hiatus

The surprise lies in the simple details. Nemiga has not appeared on the PUBG scene since 2018 – and suddenly flew to the first place of the last stage, surpassing FaZe Clan, Team Liquid and Gen.G Esports. If they repeat this result in Bangkok, the audience will definitely get the show.

What awaits the audience

The PMGC finals at Siam Paragon promise to be spectacular. 16 qualified teams from different regions, each with their own game style and strategy. Korean powerhouses like DRX, Turkish representatives, Vietnamese teams — they are all ready to prove who is the strongest in the world of battle royale.

The reason for this is not only money (if $500,000 for the first place is a serious incentive), but also prestige. The Global championship determines who is at the top of esports in this genre.

The intrigue of the last days

While some are already preparing to storm the leaderboard, other teams have taken off for the last chance qualifier, despite all efforts. The Indian teams, for example, could not break through — fierce competition left them no chance.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on the grand finals. Three days, 18 matches, a million and a half at stake. Who will take the PUBG Global Championship 2025 trophy? We will find out the answer very soon — on December 12, the final stage starts in the very heart of Thailand.

Tournament Event:

  • Prize pool: $1.5M
  • Participants: 16 teams
  • Matches: 18 rounds
  • Venue: Siam Paragon, Bangkok
  • Dates: December 12-14, 2025

PGC 2025 prize pool: how one and a half million are divided

The base prize pool is equal to the charming sum of $1,500,000, while the total amount can grow thanks to crowdfunding through the Pick’em system. Last year, similar mechanics raised the rewards to $1.78 million — and no one would be surprised if the figure turns out to be even higher this time.

How much will the champion get

The organizers are keeping the exact and fair distribution of the prize money for the grand final a secret for now, but comparing it by analogy with previous seasons, the winner will take about a third of the total amount. If we take the standard scheme of large PUBG tournaments, the first place gets $400,000-$500,000, the second gets about half of that, and then the payouts are distributed in descending order.

Money at every stage

An interesting point: prize money is awarded not only in the finals. Teams receive payouts already in the group stage and last stage — even those who do not reach the decisive stage will leave with a certain amount. This motivates each team to fight to the end, if any place in the table affects the size of the check.

As a result, PGC 2025 is not just a title fight. Every match, every elimination, and every point earned are converted into real money. And when hundreds of thousands of dollars are at stake, the nerves of the players are tested to the fullest.
