CJ Entus Blaze was a South Korean League of Legends team that competed under the CJ Entus banner within Korea’s premier competitive structure, the LCK and its earlier incarnations. Now disbanded, Blaze belongs to the sibling-team era of Korean esports, when large organisations commonly maintained two distinct squads that could enter the same competitions and even face one another in high-stakes fixtures.

The Sister-Team Era

During the period in which Blaze operated, it was standard practice for prominent Korean brands to run paired rosters, and Blaze served as one half of the CJ Entus stable. This model produced some of the most memorable intra-organisation rivalries in the sport’s history, as fans followed both squads and debated which carried the stronger claim to the parent brand’s prestige. Blaze earned its own following within this framework as a distinct competitive entity.
