Karmine Corp beat GIANTX 2-0 in LEC Week Four

Karmine Corp defeated GIANTX 2-0 during the fourth week of the 2026 LEC Summer season. The first game lasted thirty minutes, and the second ended after twenty-seven. Karmine Corp controlled the team statistics in both games.
Caliste finished the first game without a death on Caitlyn. Yike then led the second game on Qiyana. The series was played on Patch 26.16 under the regular summer format.
Caliste led the first game on Caitlyn
Karmine Corp won the opening game with sixteen champion eliminations against five. The team also destroyed eight towers, while GIANTX did not destroy one. The final gold totals were 65,200 and 50,300. Caliste recorded nine eliminations, no deaths and one assist on Caitlyn. Canna, Yike and Kyeahoo each finished with two eliminations. Busio added eleven assists while playing Bard.
GIANTX received two eliminations from Jackies and two from Flakked. ISMA recorded the remaining GIANTX elimination in that game. The team did not create enough pressure to close the growing gaps in towers and team gold. Karmine Corp completed the game after thirty minutes. The advantage came from repeated objective control and a large team gold lead. These confirmed statistics show how Karmine Corp controlled the opening game.
Yike controlled the second game with Qiyana
Yike finished the second game with eight eliminations and no deaths. His Qiyana also recorded two assists. That result gave Karmine Corp a strong advantage from the jungle position. Karmine Corp ended the game with twelve champion eliminations against three. The tower count finished at nine to two.
The winning team held 60,400 gold, compared with 45,400 for GIANTX.
Canna played Ambessa and completed the game with one elimination. Kyeahoo used Viktor, while Caliste selected Xayah. Busio supported the team with Rakan during the twenty-seven-minute victory. GIANTX selected Poppy, Wukong, Syndra, Lucian and Milio. The lineup found only three eliminations across the game. Karmine Corp closed the map before GIANTX could recover the objective difference.
The two games used different carry choices
Caliste selected Caitlyn in the opening game and Xayah in the second. Yike moved from Jarvan IV to Qiyana. Karmine Corp therefore changed its main sources of damage and initiation. GIANTX also changed all five champion selections between games. Oscarinin moved from Ornn to Poppy, while ISMA changed from Xin Zhao to Wukong. Jackies used Annie before choosing Syndra.
Flakked played Ezreal and then Lucian. Jun supported with Karma and later Milio. The changes did not produce a different series result because Karmine Corp maintained the stronger objective control. Fearless drafting prevents simple repetition across a multi-game series. Teams prepare several champion combinations for that reason. The two completed drafts show those changes without proving any unannounced practice plan.
Objective control created the largest difference
Karmine Corp destroyed seventeen towers across the two games. GIANTX destroyed only two of Karmine Corp’s towers. That gap limited the losing team’s access to the map and reduced safe areas for collecting resources. The opening game also included a 14,900 gold advantage at the end.

The second game finished with a 15,000 gold difference. Similar final margins developed through different individual performances.
Karmine Corp secured the major neutral objectives needed to finish both games. GIANTX collected early objectives in parts of the series, but those gains did not become lasting map control. Champion eliminations alone do not end a League of Legends game. Structures and the opposing Nexus remain the final targets. Karmine Corp converted its combat advantages into those required objectives.
| Game | Duration | Champion eliminations | Towers |
|---|---|---|---|
| First game | 30 minutes | Karmine Corp 16-5 GIANTX | Karmine Corp 8-0 GIANTX |
| Second game | 27 minutes | Karmine Corp 12-3 GIANTX | Karmine Corp 9-2 GIANTX |
Karmine Corp complete another unbeaten series
The 2-0 result adds another series win to Karmine Corp’s summer record. The team has produced several victories without losing a game. Each result still counts separately in the regular-season standings. GIANTX entered the match after improved results earlier in the split. This series stopped that short run. The team now has its two completed games for reviewing errors before the next opponent.
Karmine Corp needed fifty-seven combined minutes to finish the series. Caliste led the opener, and Yike led the second game. Their different performances prevented one repeated description across both maps. Karmine Corp won the match 2-0. The relevant statistics are champion eliminations, towers, gold and objectives. These figures describe the two completed League of Legends games.
