Yuumi

Yuumi didn’t start out looking for a fight. She began as the familiar of Norra, a yordle enchantress from Bandle City, content to stay by her side until Norra vanished without warning.

That disappearance is what changed everything. Yuumi took up the role of Keeper for Norra’s Book of Thresholds, a sentient tome capable of opening portals between worlds, and she’s used it ever since to search every reachable corner for some trace of her missing friend. The search hasn’t made her grim about it, though — she still gets distracted by naps, fish, and whatever comfort happens to be nearby, always drifting back to the quest eventually.

What she’s really after, in the meantime, is companionship. Yuumi attaches herself to allies she trusts, shielding them and lending her strength rather than fighting alone — not unlike how Lulu, another yordle far from home, leans on bonds of her own. In battle, Feline Friendship heals her and whichever ally she’s attached to whenever she lands a hit. Prowling Projectile fires a slowing missile that deals extra damage the longer it travels. You and Me! dashes her to an ally, making her untargetable by anything but turrets while boosting her healing power. Zoomies grants speed and a shield, passed straight to her ally if she’s attached. Final Chapter, her ultimate, channels five healing, damaging waves while she keeps moving and attaching freely — proof that even her biggest spell is built around staying close to someone. She fits the mold of a support built around sustaining a partner rather than controlling a fight outright, and Bandle City’s roster of misfit yordles offers plenty of company for a wanderer like her, from Teemo to Tristana, each carrying its own strange relationship with the wider world beyond home — though few of them anchor themselves to another champion quite as literally as she does.
