The Story of Teemo
Teemo treats every mission like the most important one the Bandle Scouts have ever assigned him, which is either endearing or alarming depending on which side of his crossbow you’re standing.
- He scouts the world with nonstop energy, undeterred by dangers that would make most creatures turn back.
- His moral code, the Bandle Scout’s Code, is followed with a rigidity that sometimes blinds him to the wider fallout of what he’s doing.
- Whether the Scouts as an institution are even real is debated by other yordles, but nobody who has met Teemo doubts his sincerity or his conviction.
- He calls Bandle City home, the shifting realm that yordles slip in and out of rather than a fixed place on any map.
That same relentless conviction carries into how he fights. As a Marksman and Mage who can be played in the ADC or Mid lane and runs on Mana, Teemo’s Guerrilla Warfare rewards patience: stand still long enough, especially in brush, and he vanishes entirely, moving invisibly until an attack breaks the effect. Blinding Dart punishes anyone who wanders into range by blinding them outright, and Toxic Shot means every basic attack afterward leaves a poison ticking on top of the blind for several seconds. Move Quick keeps him faster than most until a champion or turret manages to land a hit on him, and can be triggered for an even faster sprint that ignores that usual break. His signature, Noxious Trap, plants an explosive mushroom that bursts into a slowing, damaging poison cloud when triggered — the same mushrooms he scatters across jungle paths to warn of trouble near Dragon or Baron. Compared to fellow small-statured combatants like Veigar, Tristana, Corki, and Rumble, Teemo’s danger is less about raw power and more about never seeing him coming until it’s already too late.
