Renekton

Two brothers once commanded the armies of Shurima together, and only one of them survived the empire’s fall with his sanity intact.

Renekton was not always the raving, blood-slicked figure who now claws his way across the desert. In life he was Shurima’s most decorated general, an Ascended being whose victories built the empire’s reputation for invincibility. When Shurima collapsed, he was sealed beneath the sand rather than killed, and centuries of entombment did what battle never could: it broke his mind. When he finally clawed free, the empire he served no longer existed, but his need for someone to blame did not go away with it.

That blame fell on Nasus, his brother, whom Renekton is now utterly consumed with hunting down and killing, convinced that centuries of darkness were somehow Nasus’s doing. Whatever truth lies buried under that conviction, Renekton no longer has the patience to examine it.

A Kit Built on Barely Controlled Fury

Reign of Anger, his passive, generates Fury from every attack, more of it the lower his health drops, and that stored rage empowers his other abilities once it crosses a threshold. From there:

• Cull the Meek cleaves everyone nearby and heals him for part of the damage dealt.
• Ruthless Predator slashes a single target twice, adding a third hit once Fury is high enough.
• Slice and Dice dashes him through a line of enemies, cutting Armor when empowered.
• Dominus transforms him into a towering Tyrant form that keeps generating Fury while he tears through anything nearby.

Every piece of that kit reads as barely restrained violence looking for an outlet, which tracks: for a warrior sealed away for centuries with nothing but rage to keep him company, restraint was never really an option. He now shares Shurima’s buried sands with figures like Azir and K’Sante, though none of them factor much into a mind fixed on one target.
