The Story of Anivia
Anivia does not treat dying as an ending. As a winged spirit born from ice and unforgiving wind, she has gone through the cycle of life, death, and rebirth often enough that Rebirth is simply how her kit expects a fight to go: take fatal damage, revert to an egg, come back at full health, and start the next confrontation as if the last one never happened.
Guardian first, demigod second
The role matters more to her than the divinity behind it. She wields her elemental power specifically to stop anyone who threatens her homeland, and the tribes of the north do not see a distant deity when they look at her so much as a protector who happens to command winter itself. Flash Frost freezes a target before it explodes into a wider burst, Frostbite deals extra damage to anything already chilled by that ice, and Glacial Storm rains a slowing blizzard onto anyone who stays close to a nest she has already claimed. Crystallize lets her simply wall off a path rather than fight for it, which she uses as freely to protect her own egg as to trap an intruder.
A symbol built to be spent
She fights with the understanding that each sacrifice feeds the next return, and that her memory outlasts any single death, which is a strange kind of comfort for the tribes who see her as both hope and a sign of coming change. Her home in Freljord is shared with other native figures, including Ashe, whose own tribe looks to old legends in much the same way the north looks to Anivia, and Braum, another guardian figure the same harsh land has produced, each one answering the north’s ongoing need for something worth believing in during a long, hard winter.
