Pantheon’s edges are narrow but well placed — 175 attack range to 125, 345 move speed to 335, and 40 base armour to 35, widening to 124.2 against 118.3. Both champions deal physical damage, which makes Aegis Assault unusually efficient here, since it sets his shield and makes damage arriving from the front irrelevant while he strikes, and Ambessa’s output comes from the front through Cunning Sweep, Lacerate and her attacks. Her 32 magic resist against his 28 is the one defensive line she clearly wins, and neither champion threatens it.

Her leverage is resource and mobility. Energy imposes no mana ceiling on repeated casting, Drakehound’s Step adds a dash whenever a move or attack command is issued during a cast, and Public Execution blinks to the farthest enemy champion in a line and suppresses on arrival. Repudiation rewards her for blocking damage while bracing, so Pantheon should spend Mortal Will empowerment on Comet Spear rather than feeding the shield of Ambessa.
