The arsenal in GTA 6 will be Lucia and Jason’s primary tool for establishing order in Vice City. Footage from the latest extended trailer and the August 2026 preview revealed a wealth of details, from specific weapon models like the Duke 556 to a redesigned loadout selector.
The developers have clearly refreshed familiar mechanics ahead of the November release.

The full GTA 6 arsenal: what’s already been revealed in gameplay
We were able to see not just the basic set, but specific guns and auxiliary gadgets:
Firearms and exclusives: the Uzi submachine gun, the Duke 556 assault rifle, and the Moreland 850 shotgun were all featured in the footage. Ultimate Edition owners will also receive the unique Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers.
Modifications and special equipment: pistols can now be equipped with silencers and flashlights, and a stun gun is available for bloodless neutralization.
Close-range combat and throwables: in addition to the Molotov cocktail, a baseball bat and even a heavy hammer will be used.
Ammo will be purchased at the familiar Ammu-Nation network, but you can also pick up “guns” right off the pavement during firefights.
How the equipment selector and new slots work
The item selection interface has been split into two separate tabs this time: one is dedicated exclusively to weapons, the other to auxiliary equipment. The circle itself is divided into eight slots. The top one is dedicated to pistols, the right one is reserved for the secondary weapon, the left one is for throwables, and the bottom sector holds useful tools (like the binoculars).
It’s especially worth paying attention to the lower left corner of the screen: there are now two icons for consumables. One is responsible for a vial of health-restoring medications, and the other is responsible for an adrenaline booster, allowing you to quickly pick up the pace and increase your stamina in the heat of battle.
This mechanic set is currently based on the August reveals, so the balance may still be slightly adjusted by the release.
