The latest leaks for Genshin Impact 6.6 were quick to arrive – the release of the “Luna VI” (6.5) patch had barely begun, when gameplay footage of three new characters was leaked online. These are Pyro Shielder Nicole, Cryo Lancer Loena, and the mysterious Anemo Girl Prune. A weekly boss will also be added – Dottore, one of the Harbingers of Fatui. And on top of that, there’s a new dungeon with artifacts and signature weapons for two new characters.

What the leaks show: Nicole, Loena, and Prune’s gameplay
Nicole – an angel with a shield and buffs

Nicole is a member of the “Witches’ Sabbath” and an angel players have already seen in the Nod End storyline. Her class is a Pyro Catalyst. Her job is to provide a shield and increase the active character’s attack power. Leaks suggest a new artifact set tailored for her will further increase her team’s damage output.
In Varka’s premium squad, Nicole will likely become an indispensable unit. Her passive, “Witch Resonance,” adds flexibility—the angel can be integrated into a wide variety of builds.
Loen—Second-Captain with a Stacking Mechanic

Loen is a Knight of the Ordo Favonius, the second-in-command of the fifth squad. He is a Cryo Lancer with an unusual mechanic: his elemental skill puts him into a special stance where he accumulates stacks of “Joy” and “Triumph.” Like Nicole, Loen will receive “Witch Resonance,” allowing him to be teamed with the meta Durin and the future Nicole.
Several leakers claim that after patch 6.6, Loen will be placed in the standard banner. This means he will be available for a 50/50 loss.
Prune – a dark horse from Mondstadt

There’s almost no information about Prune. She hasn’t appeared in the storyline before – all that’s known is that she hails from Mondstadt and wields the Anemo God’s Eye. Rumor has it that she will replace Venti in Varka’s premium squad. Whether this is true remains to be seen.
But if you believe the leaks, the configuration of the new three looks quite working. Let’s analyze the roles, builds and pitfalls of each of the three characters — fortunately, there are already enough drains for the first conclusions.
Nicole, Loen and Prune: Preliminary builds based on 6.6 leaks
According to insiders, all three of them are tied to the mechanics of the “Witchy Resonance”. This means that the priority choice of equipment is a new set of artifacts and signature weapons. Below are the recommendations relevant at the time of the drains. The numbers may change in the release, but the general logic is unlikely.
Nicole: Pyro-thyroid and team buffer
Her task is simple and critical at the same time: put up a shield and distribute the attack power to the whole team. Passive income works out of pocket — this is a key advantage. The best place for Nicole is Cooking-formulations and any Pyro-reactions.
Build:
-
The weapon is a signature catalyst. F2P alternative: “The memory of dust.”
-
Artifacts — 4 parts of “The Bounty of Nature”.
-
Priority stats: Energy Recovery (180-200%) → Attack power (%) → Critical damage.
-
For the transition period — 2+2: “Bounty of Nature” + “Emerald Hunter”.
-
Constellations: C2 reveals the full buff. C4 gives a shield to the whole team. C6 raises the unit’s elemental damage to 40%.
Strengths: versatility, serious team buff (up to 26% plus boosts), low entry threshold.
Weaknesses: personal damage is almost zero. And the timing of the shield must be caught — it missed, and fragile damagers fell down.
The verdict on C0 is a must-have for any Cooking squad. There’s nothing to do there without her.
Loen: Cryo-damager with stack mechanics
The main damager in this bundle. Everything revolves around the rack, where “Joy” and “Triumph” accumulate. The rotation is clear: elemental explosion → skill (entering the rack) → 3-4 normal/charged attacks → repeat skill or explosion to extend.
Build:
-
The weapon is a signature spear. There are almost no other options yet — it’s too mechanical.
-
Artifacts — 4 parts of “Broken Illusion in the Shadows”.
-
Stats: Crete. damage → crit. chance → attack power (%).
-
F2P-alternative: “Deathmatch” and build 2+2.
-
Constellations: C1 extends the rack. C3 increases the skill’s damage. C6 adds a crit. damage from the number of stacks.
Strengths: Very high damage from normal stand-up attacks. Excellent synergy with Nicole — the shield allows you to hit without being distracted. And yes, after 6.6 it will go into the standard banner.
Weaknesses: without stacks, it’s about nothing. And without a shield, Nicole becomes too vulnerable.
Verdict on C0: yes, if you need a strong Cryo-DPS. Especially considering the standard care.
Prune: Anemo-subDPS without a clear description
The most obscure character. According to leaks, an Anemo-clusterer and a subDPS, which theoretically can replace Venti in premium Cooking squads. There are almost no specific mechanics, but a short rotation under Anemo-resonance is assumed.
Rotation (presumably): Skill → element explosion → character change. The cycle is 8-10 seconds.
Build:
-
Signature weapon (if available) or “Sky Atlas”.
-
Artifacts — 4 parts of The Emerald Hunter. Or 2+2 with a new set.
-
Stats: energy recovery → crit. Damage → mastery of the elements.
-
Constellations: there is almost no data. C2 and C4 supposedly strengthen the grouping and give buffs to Anemo damage.
Strengths: fast rotation. A grouping that can be useful for Cooking teams.
Weaknesses: the cat didn’t cry enough information. There are still questions about damage and constellations.
Verdict on C0: only if you really need Anemo-subDPS specifically for Cooking. In all other cases, wait for full—fledged tests after the release.
Character Comparison
Dottore Returns: New Weekly Boss in 6.6

After the conclusion of the Archon Quests story arc, fans suspected that the second Harbinger of Fatui, Dottore, would return. Insiders have confirmed that a version of the Doctor will be the new weekly boss in update 6.6. His dungeon will be located in Sumeru. The reference is obvious: previously leaked footage featured Dottore burning the Irminsul tree.
New Artifacts: for Superconductor and Witch Resonance Supports

A new dungeon with two sets is expected in 6.6. One is tailored for the Superconductor reaction—likely for Sandrone, who is expected to benefit from this reaction in patch 6.7. The second is a support set, for characters with Witch Resonance. It will likely be Nicole’s signature set. Shattered Illusion in the Shadows
2 pieces: +18% Attack Power
4 pieces: Superconductor damage increased by 40%. When the wearer attacks an enemy under the Superconductor effect, the critical chance of that attack is increased by +16%.
Nature’s Bounty
2 pieces: +20% Energy Regeneration
4 pieces: If the wearer has completed the Witch’s Trial, after using the skill, they gain the “Call of Heavenly Light” effect – the entire squad gains +20% Elemental Damage for 20 seconds. Works from the pocket. If the squad is under the effect of “Secret Rite,” “Call” is upgraded to “Hymn of Worldly Glory,” providing additional elemental damage bonuses, and both bonuses increase to 40%. Bonuses of the same elemental type do not stack.
Signature Weapons of Nicole and Loen
Both new characters will receive weapons perfectly tailored to their needs. Nicole’s Signature (Catalyst)
Base Attack: 741
Bonus: +16.5% Attack Damage
Effect: Attack Damage +12%. After creating the shield, the user gains Guiding Light for 20 seconds. For every 1000 ATK, all active characters deal 10% more damage (maximum 26%). While the effect is active, hitting enemies or opening chests outside of combat restores 14 energy (every 16 seconds). This effect works even in a party, but not on the field.
Witches’ Sabbath. Secret Rite: Hexorei characters in a party (but not on the field) receive a 50% damage bonus from Guiding Light.
Loen’s Signature (Spear)
Base Attack: 674
Crit. Chance: 22%
Effect: After using an elemental skill, the user gains Path of Discord for 17 seconds, as well as the effects of Ruthless and Incurable for 3 seconds each (once every 18 seconds). Ruthless grants +40% damage to normal and charged attacks, while Incurable grants +40% damage to skill and elemental burst.
While Path of Discord is active: hitting with normal/charged attacks extends Incurable by 1 second; hitting with a skill/burst extends Ruthless by 1 second. Each activation can occur no more than once every 0.1 seconds. The effects are removed when Path of Discord ends or the user leaves the field.
Witches’ Sabbath. Secret Rite: All listed damage bonuses are increased by 75%.
Echoes of Fantasy: Navia and the Wanderer
An insider named Seele Leaks has leaked new Echoes of Fantasy that will be added to the Imaginarium Theater after the release of 6.6. This time, they’re for Navia and the Wanderer. At the time of writing, no new photo mode poses have been revealed.
