Minecraft developers have released a new themed update called Tiny Takeover — now the world of the game is flooded with tiny and damn charming versions of familiar mobs. The update is already available to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners. Apparently, Mojang decided to hit the mimicry: small copies of creatures are now found in every biome, bringing a fair amount of chaos and emotion to the familiar gameplay.

Golden dandelion and eternal youth: what was added to Tiny Takeover

The main advantage of the update is not just the spawn of the cubs, but the mechanics of interacting with them. To prevent your favorite mini-zombie or tiny creeper from becoming a huge problem over time, a special item has been introduced into the game — a golden dandelion. This little thing allows you to literally “freeze” the age of a mob, leaving it forever young.

The main innovations of the patch:

  • Name tags — now you can sign not only adults, but also your new tiny pets.;
  • Unique voice acting — a pack of new sounds has been recorded for kids that sound as cute as possible;
  • The Golden dandelion is the artifact that prevents creatures from growing up.;
  • Cosmetic changes — the update is aimed at atmosphere and entertainment, without breaking the basic mechanics of survival.

Accessibility and platforms

Although Minecraft has been trading for a decade and a half, the game continues to hold the title of one of the biggest hits in the history of the industry due to such content injections. Tiny Takeover is a great reason to return to your buildings on PS5 and PS4 to collect a collection of pocket monsters.

For those who missed it: Tiny Takeover is already available for download. This is purely fan content that adds a new layer of interaction with the fauna to the sandbox — a great gift for an audience of millions of fans before larger technical updates. It seems that this time the creators decided to just give the players something to smile about. Why not?
