Once Human version 3.0.7 is active for Steam players with two permanent changes that matter beyond its seasonal rewards. Facial and body reshaping plus hairstyle dyeing no longer consume paid items, while territory owners can select parent animals through a new targeted breeding interface. The update also strengthens the Beastmaster class, opens the Golden Autumn events and prepares the survival game for October’s Isles of Abyss scenario.

Free reshaping removes a cost from experimentation
Face, body and hairstyle-color changes can now be made without spending Chrysalis Tokens or Butterfly Dye. Those two items have been withdrawn from the shop, and existing copies can be converted into Colorful Badges. Players who bought affected items during the three months before the update are due automatic compensation through in-game mail, including the relevant price difference where necessary.
The practical result is that a long-running character no longer has to preserve an early appearance because trying another look consumes a scarce item. Outfits and face editing are also easier to reach from the revised Presets interface. Appearance remains cosmetic, but removing the recurring fee makes the editor behave more like a normal creative tool and less like a decision that must be protected from regret.
Targeted breeding gives territory owners control over parents
The Youngling Hut now includes a Targeted Breeding option. Instead of accepting an opaque pairing process, the owner can manually add the parent animals that should produce the next youngling. A territory may contain up to five Youngling Huts, although the facility cannot be placed in an RV or on water territory in the upcoming Isles of Abyss scenario.
Selecting parents does not remove the need to organize a useful breeding stock. It makes that stock legible. Players can separate animals intended for traits from those kept for ordinary production, label the relevant pens and avoid spending time on pairings that never had a chance to produce the desired result. The feature is therefore most valuable when the territory already has a clear plan for space and feed.

Beastmaster can field three animals at once
The Beastmaster class can now summon three animals simultaneously, while other classes retain a limit of one. A single Beast Whistle can command the group. This changes the class from a sequence of individual summons into a small controllable unit, but it also makes positioning more important because three companions can crowd the same doorway or chase different targets.
The developers say animal response logic will continue to be improved. For now, players should test commands in open terrain before relying on the trio in a confined encounter. The increased limit is a direct power and utility gain, yet its real value depends on whether the animals remain together, reach the intended target and return without pulling extra threats into the fight.

The Steam download is smaller inside the running client
The official notes distinguish the PC launcher package from the in-game portion: approximately 3.28 GB through the launcher and about 247 MB inside the PC client. The developer warns that a delayed Steam platform push can trigger duplicate downloads. If the client appears to fetch more data than expected, checking Steam’s download page and waiting for the platform update is safer than repeatedly restarting the installation.
The same patch addresses territory frame drops, storage use across connected plots and several interface details. It also adds separate text-size controls for chat and subtitles on PC and console. Those fixes do not carry the headline appeal of an event, but they affect every return to a developed base and are worth checking before blaming a familiar problem on local hardware.
Isles of Abyss is announced, not yet part of this patch
Version 3.0.7 points toward the ocean-survival scenario Isles of Abyss and its RaidZone variant, but the official schedule places that larger release on October 21. The current update prepares systems and reservations; it does not make the ocean map playable early. Keeping that boundary clear prevents event rewards and future scenario features from being mixed into one misleading list.
Steam players can use the free customization, breeding changes, Beastmaster limit and autumn events now. The ocean scenario remains the next major checkpoint.
Treating 3.0.7 as a quality-of-life and seasonal update gives a more accurate picture than presenting it as the launch of an expansion that still has several weeks of development and server preparation ahead.
