Asphalt Legends has opened the Ultima RS Special Hunt on Steam. The event runs from September 28 through October 13 and is built around one clear goal: players use the Ultima RS inside the event, collect its blueprints and upgrade materials, then raise its rank to unlock later stages. The hunt contains one stage for each of the car’s six stars plus a final stage, so it is a long progression event rather than a single race or a simple login reward.

Players build the Ultima RS inside the event
A Special Hunt differs from a normal race series because the featured car is available as a free try in its own stages. A player does not need to own the Ultima RS before entering the first race. Early runs provide the blueprints and packs needed to begin developing the same car that is used throughout the hunt. This makes the event accessible to a new account while keeping progress tied to one vehicle.
The Ultima RS is a key car. Blueprints raise its star level, but collecting blueprints alone does not complete the unlock. The player must continue through the hunt, improve the car and meet the final conditions connected to its key. That is the main purpose of the event: it offers a route from a temporary test drive to permanent ownership, provided the garage can support the required upgrades.
Seven stages follow the car’s six star levels
The hunt contains seven stages: one for each star of the Ultima RS and one additional final stage. Progress is therefore easy to read. A player earns blueprints, raises the star level, applies upgrades and returns with a higher-ranked car. The next stage then becomes the new target. The event does not ask the player to guess which unrelated vehicle is needed for the central route.
Later stages demand a higher rank and provide stronger reward packs. Those packs can contain more blueprints and epic import parts, while the fixed rewards help mark important milestones. A player who has only reached an early star level has still made useful progress, but the best rewards are placed deeper in the event. The structure rewards steady development instead of one unusually fast lap.

Credits and upgrade parts are the real limit
Race attempts matter, but the larger obstacle is the cost of improving a six-star S-class car. Every new star opens additional upgrades, and those upgrades require credits and import parts. Repeating races without saving enough currency can leave the player with the necessary blueprints but a rank that is too low for the next stage. The event should therefore be treated as both a racing challenge and a garage investment.
The sensible approach is to upgrade only as far as the next stage requires, then check the following target before spending again. Buying every available part immediately can consume credits that are needed later for a more expensive rank increase. Players who already own a developed Ultima RS will move through the early stages faster, while new owners must decide whether their current resources can support the complete route.

Other season events compete for the same budget
The hunt begins while the Mosler SuperGT Burst of Speed event, the Kimera EVO37 Grand Prix and the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta Starway are also active. They use different cars, but all of them require time, credits and attention. Starting every event at once can spread a garage so thin that none of its main rewards are reached.
Priority depends on the state of the account. A player who already has many Ultima RS blueprints may be close enough to pursue the key. Someone with little progress and limited credits may receive more value from a Starway step or another car that supports several future events. The update creates several valid routes, so the correct choice comes from the garage inventory rather than the largest banner on the menu.
A daily target makes repeated races more useful
Before each session, the player should check three numbers: blueprints needed for the next star, credits needed for the next rank and days remaining before October 13. That turns a large event into a short daily target. Runs can then focus on the stage whose packs and fixed rewards answer the current shortage instead of repeating the first available race without a reason.
The main value of this Ultima RS rerun is now clear. It is not a balance patch and it does not add a new permanent mode. It is a time-limited chance to build a powerful S-class key car through seven connected stages. Players who plan their credits can work toward ownership; players who cannot finish can still collect blueprints and materials that remain useful when the hunt returns.
