How to level up Battle Pass in Fortnite fast: complete XP guide for 2026 - Image 1

The fastest way to level up in the new Override season is to activate the OverrideXP code (+40,000 XP), enable Match Override: More XP, and complete weekly quests. If you’re lucky and the developers haven’t patched the bugs yet, you can also add the Bass Boost glitch—it grants 5,000 XP for each destroyed structure. Ultimately, you can reach 5-7 levels in an hour, and reach 100 in a week with moderate play. But let’s take things one step at a time.

To fully complete the Battle Pass this season, you need to accumulate approximately 7.9 million experience points. It sounds daunting, but in reality, that’s about 100 levels, and with a smart strategy, you’ll complete them faster than the next patch. The key is to avoid spreading yourself too thin, but rather use a combination of proven tools. By the way, choosing your methods carefully is also important: some of them are borderline unacceptable, and Epic Games doesn’t always overlook exploits.

Let’s start with the most reliable and legal method: weekly quests. Each week, you’re given five quests, each worth 20,000 XP, and completing four of them nets you a bonus of 25,000 XP. That’s a total of 125,000 XP per week, risk-free. For example, in the second week, you had to absorb an item on Blinky, Pinky, or Pac-Man islands—no big deal, just run to the right spot and do what they ask. These quests refresh on Wednesdays, so be sure to check the list regularly, otherwise, missing out on a quick leveling opportunity would be a shame.

The next level is the admin panel and special codes. These are activated directly in the game through the settings menu and provide an instant boost. The code “OverrideXP” is a one-time bonus of 40,000 XP. Another code, “O2Override,” doesn’t grant experience, but a Sprites multiplier of ×5, but it’s useful for completing certain quests. These codes work on all platforms, including PS5, Xbox, and PC, and can be used simultaneously with other methods. Simply enter them in the appropriate field, and voila, you’re one step closer to the coveted Sonic the Hedgehog skin.

Match Override: More XP is also worth mentioning. This is a system-wide option that increases the amount of experience earned for eliminations, collecting loot, and surviving the storm. Essentially, you enable it before a match and receive a passive boost for the entire battle. It’s not huge, but it’s stable—if you’re already playing well, each match will reward you with 15-20% more experience than usual. I recommend always activating this mode unless you’re chasing a specific challenge—it outperforms many other methods in terms of time-to-result ratio.

And now for the hottest part: glitches. There are two main ones. The first is Bass Boost. You purchase this item from the in-game store (it’s part of the Loot Hack set), then start destroying buildings in a match, and for each structure destroyed, you’ll gain 5,000 XP. In practice, this can net up to 300,000 XP per hour—meaning 3-4 levels in a single run. However, this is almost certainly a bug, and Epic could fix it at any time and issue a warning for using it. At the time of writing (late August 2026), the glitch is still active, but we recommend not relying entirely on it—check its validity before entering the game.

The second bug is Respawn Rumble. If you leave a match in this mode at a certain point, the game awards between 35,000 and 70,000 XP. The mechanics aren’t fully understood, and many sources disagree on the details, but the fact remains: you can earn a decent amount of XP in a couple of minutes. But there’s a risk here too: such exits can be considered exploitation of a vulnerability, meaning there’s a chance of getting banned or having your progress reset. If you’re not willing to take the risk, it’s best to skip this section.

To help you choose, here’s a comparison table of methods based on three criteria: speed, difficulty, and safety.

Leveling Methods — XP per Hour

Method XP per hour (approx.) Difficulty Ban Risk
Weekly quests ~20 000 low none
Admin codes (one-time) 40 000 (in 5 seconds) minimal none
Match Override: More XP depends on skill, +15–20% low none
Bass Boost glitch up to 300 000 medium high
Respawn Rumble bar 35 000–70 000 very low medium

As you can see, the golden mean is a combination of the first three methods. They provide a stable increase without the hassle, and they can be used every day. If you want to speed things up and are willing to take a risk, then add glitches, but do so sparingly and don’t overuse them—otherwise, you risk having to fix your account not through the in-game store, but by contacting support, which isn’t always successful.

Now, a practical strategy for the week. Day 1: Log in to the game, activate both codes, and enable Match Override. Days 2-6: Complete daily challenges (they award 5-10,000 XP each) and complete weekly quests—preferably all five to receive the bonus. Day 7: If glitches are still active, dedicate an hour to Bass Boost and reach the remaining levels to 100. This way, you’ll calmly reach your goal without burning out.

Regarding internal navigation: if you already have articles on individual quests or Override skins on your site, be sure to include links to them—this will help readers drill down and help you avoid cannibalizing queries. Ideally, this page should become the main entry point for all things XP in Fortnite.

And finally, a few things we don’t recommend stating as fact. No one knows exactly when Epic will fix the glitches, so any promises like “they’ll work forever” are false. Also, don’t say “this is the fastest method” without qualification, because it all depends on your playstyle and the time you’re willing to invest. And of course, don’t try to pass off speculation as official information—if something isn’t confirmed by the developers, always use the prefix “preliminary data.”

Ultimately, if you follow our plan, even a beginner can succeed in leveling. And if you still have questions—for example, how exactly to enter a code or where to find the current list of quests—we’ve prepared separate guides on these topics. In the meantime, launch Fortnite, activate everything we’ve listed, and enjoy the process. Good luck on the island!
