The fifth Expedition in ARC Raiders will be the last until early 2027. Embark Studios is sending the voluntary progress reset system for a fundamental overhaul due to community criticism. These aren’t just cosmetic changes—a complete redesign is in the works.
The fifth Expedition will run from September 8th to 29th. Players have three weeks. Participation is voluntary. After its completion, there will be a pause. Although announced on August 21st, the actual window begins on September 8th.

How Expeditions Work?
This is a seasonal reset cycle: players build a Caravan, gather resources, and send a Raider beyond the Rust Belt. In exchange, they lose a level, stash, and resources, but receive permanent buffs: skill points, expanded stash space, and cosmetics.

Completing all five Expeditions will reward the exclusive Zenith costume. Partially completed Caravans will be reset, awarding Ermal vouchers. Buffs will persist.
Frozen Trail: What’s Next
The Frozen Trail update arrives on October 8th, bringing a snowy map, the Outpost hideout, and ARC Operation. Matchmaking and progression will be improved.
The exact return date for Expeditions has not been announced. It is expected to be early 2027. Embark will review the timeframe, availability, and rewards.
Event Calendar — 2026
September 29th is your last chance to complete all five Expeditions and earn Zenith. Then, a pause until the updated system launches in 2027.
