In the gardening simulator Grow a Garden 2, simply selling your grown vegetables and berries isn’t the most profitable option. The developers have included a fully functional bargaining system that allows you to negotiate higher prices from vendors and earn significantly more shekels than with standard sales. We’ll explain how this system works and how to negotiate effectively at the seed store to avoid losing money.

Bargaining Guide: How to Raise the Price of Crops in Grow a Garden 2?
Steven is the local shop’s purchasing manager. He’s the one you’ll be dealing with once your backpack is full of ripe fruit. The system is activated directly in the shop interface: as soon as you bring in your goods, the “Bargain” button will light up on the screen.
Here, the player has two options:
-
Bargain your inventory – Steven will evaluate all the resources in your pockets;
-
Bargaining is an option for making targeted sales if you’re holding a specific fruit or vegetable.
After this, the merchant makes his verdict. A deal is always a gamble. Steven can either accept your offer or reject it. If you decline, the game will deduct some shekels from your account as a fine, but you’ll keep the harvest itself—it will be sold at a fixed base price. If Steven accepts the terms, you’ll receive a hefty premium.

Three Negotiation Options with Steven
Once the merchant announces his price, you’ll have three options (and each should be approached wisely):
-
Accept the deal. The most obvious choice if the price is acceptable. Incidentally, if you’re unsure about the deal’s value, you can simply exit the bargaining menu. Check the price against the standard shop price list and return if Steven’s offer is truly lucrative.
-
Daily Deals. A powerful bonus that activates only once per real-world day. Using it on cheap radishes is a questionable decision. (Apparently, the mechanics were specifically balanced for the late game.) Save this option for rare, high-level harvests to squeeze maximum profit out of the daily multiplier.

-
Ask for More. This option is for those who enjoy risk. If the offered amount seems small, you can try to pressure Steven and extract even more shekels. But be warned: the attempt itself will cost you hard cash, and the chance of success is far from 100%.

This seems like a classic mechanic for gamblers.
